The scotch flavor isn't prominent. It has a whisky flavor in the same way that many tobaccos have a whisky flavor, just fortified. It's a ambiguous whisky taste, like Probe, but not anywhere near the same direction they took it if you know what I mean.

Mine should have showed up today from buysnus. It's been 5 bussiness days, very disapointed...
I can't wait, but I am also a little worried about the single malt they use in the mix. I don't drink anymore and if it tastes a little too much of alchohol, I don't think I will be able to use it.

cool thanks for the info. I was thinking the cube would be kicka$$ on my desk at work so I could take a pinch when I wanted but keeping my office at 38 degrees F would not make my clients happy. :lol:

Same here - I stored my Kardus in the fridge and it stayed excellently fresh. The tub it's packed in seals quite well - not like a loose-fitting lid on a normal tin - so it keeps really well.

The cube has a plastic tub inside. I put the plastic tub in the fridge. I still have a little Kardus from last year, and it's held up fine.

So you did not put any in the deep freeze just the fridge?

Yup, it's never seen a freezer, and to the best of my memory it's exactly the way it was when new.

hey quick question for the guys that bought Kardus. How do you plan on storing it? I am guessing this will not be an all day snus for me and I do not think throwing the hole wood cube in the deep freeze is wise. So how do you plan on storing your Kardus?

I got my Kardus today. Regular shipping, and it came to me in perfect condition. You can smell the whisky in the snus, but I wouldn't say it has an overt whisky flavor. The snus has been enhanced without going overboard(some other companies could take note...;^)). The mouth feel is much better this year. It's easier to bake, and is much softer. The flavor is natural, with a pleasant bitterness, and just a hint of whisky in the back. Overall I'm very happy with Kardus, and they've improved on last year's recipe.

Wow, thats 5 great prizes, thanks Frank! I would love to try this stuff but am hesitant to drop upwards of $60 for Snus that I have no idea if I will like it. I would love a little pinch though so I can review it on my blog. If someone hasa pinch they can put in a ziplock bag and send in an envelope that would be great. PM me.
