Heh, PA for the win. I am surprised that snus is still not as popular, I constantly see ads for cigarettes being $5+ per pack, while snus is like $1.50-$3.00 heh, it's down right ridiculous.

To note - Oregon's "min. tax" is $2.14 per retail unit - so most (all?) portion Snus will be taxed at this rate.

    Tobacco Tax Increase
The Legislature has enacted an increase in the New Hampshire tobacco tax and an expansion of the tax to include snuff and certain cigars effective July 1, 2009. The new rates are as follows:

You'd have to look at the effective dates. I'm guessing the higher rate is current. I wouldn't consider this chart to be 100% accurate. Justin already pointed out 1 addendum. This should give you an idea though, and later induction dates are likely to be more accurate than older dates.

I'm putting this up as a sticky, as we've gotten a lot of questions on it. This way you don't have to open a PDF or anything. I'll take it down once the newness of PACT wears off.

Courtesy Of Snarfblat, here's the Canadian provincial tax, as well as a handy spreadsheet for calculating the tax owed. The spreadsheet is in .odf format which will open in OpenOffice. It may or may not work in Excel. I believe MS has a plugin for .odf files, but it's probably a half-hearted implementation, so YMMV whether it works or not.
