That's crazy son. I've never even bought one can from those guys, but I do love their stores, and I've bought plenty of cigars and even some cigs (cough - not lately though) I just don't have any reason to, and I don't like General.
I don't buy from them, I buy from GetSnus, but I know how much a can is and a roll is 10x that so it's an approximation.

I need to take break from work for a sec, I'm going to go check the price on a can of General. Be right back...

Edit: Still only $7.99 for a can of snus lol. I asked him again how they are selling, and he said he gets a new shipment in every week. Several rolls. I wonder who is buying this stuff for 250% more than online? Crazy. He said the original portions, white, and Wintergreen were the big sellers. I scored a sample of the regular size Mint ones. Nothing special imo.

I wonder what the online price for us will be once PACT goes into effect. I know the latest chart I saw had snuff down as 286.9 cents per oz. This is I believe above and beyond the regular sales tax.

24 grams = 0.846575087 ounces, 0.846575087 * 286.9 = 242.882392 or $2.42 tax added. So if a current can is $2.60, plus 9.5% sales tax, plus $2.42, we should be looking at around $5.26 per can (or $52.60 per roll) which is still considerably cheaper than the $80 bucks per roll we pay locally.

That's my take anyway, I could be wrong.

I remember being horrified at the Canadian cigarette costs when they were ~$5 a pack. They were about $1.50 here at the time. I think MD is about $5 a pack now, but I haven't paid attention to the prices in awhile :^S

The fact you can pass a 90% tax on something is insane in the first place. That is not a tax, that is outright stepping into the middle of a transaction, charging double and then taking half as your cut FOR DOING NOTHING but allowing it to happen. It's like the mob man.

So, if a can of snus at retail is $3.00 dollars and the wholesale price what? maybe $1.50 and 70% for my state of MN would be $1.05.

That really is not as bad as I thought.
Yeah, 50% here in Iowa isn't so bad either, guess we will learn what wholesale is lol.

What does the 3 in superscript next to California mean? Taxes to the third power most likely lol.
