"Jul 21, 2011 - Introduced in Senate. This is the original text of the bill as it was written by its sponsor and submitted to the Senate for consideration. This is the latest version of the bill currently available on GovTrack."

Well we all remember how we thought the PACT act wouldn't pass. This one if you notice was included in the IDEA Funding Act with Individuals with Disabilities Education Act funding, so you know it will easily pass.

If my math is correct, that would add an additional $2.50 or so tax to each can (or $25 bucks more per roll over state taxes). Definitely time to think about quitting.

I feel your pain. I agree with ChaoticGemini. While in PA, be sure to fill up your gas tank and buy any other things you need while you're there. Think of it as supporting freedom.

Well Link, if that's how you feel, make sure you fill the tank over the state-line too. It is sad our elected officials have made it so difficult for people to get a legal product. At least you are in driving distance to still get your hands on snus.

What a sad state of affairs. I go online to order for the first time in 6 months and notice Maryland won't allow UPS shippments. So what sense does this make? Now I have to drive 30 mins north and pick it up at a buddies house in PA to circumvent this horse manure? Based on principle, I'll do this if the cost in gas is ten times more rather than giving this state one cent in tacx money.

The "US Government" section...anyone know anything about that?? If my husband is in the military and were to order snus online, shouldn't he be able to get that govt rate??? Hmmm.....

After a little more research...looks like only military BX's/Commissaries get a special tax break..so I'd have to somehow get my BX to carry my snus to get a break. That ain't gonna happen
