I haven't smoked since September of 2010. I don't remember the exact day but just lost my urge to smoke.

April 17th 2009 was my quit day. Coming up on 2 year anniversary, haven't even wanted a cig since starting snus.

I still smoke, quit for about 6 weeks when I first started snus. Pack of Reds and half a can of GESP a day. Hooked on both. Oh well.

I've had one cigarette in a little over two years, since starting snus. However, I've smoked several cigars, and a few bowls of pipe tobacco. Nothing satisfies like snus now, thank god

While I still like cigarettes, I prefer snus for a full time thing. Even if cigarettes magically became healthy, I'd primarily use snus.

I haven't had a pipe for a few months though I will usually have one or two cigarettes a week with my son on the way to the train station. When I do smoke it is nowhere near as enjoyable and just this afternoon I put one out after two puffs. Snus has ended my smoking enjoyment and I'm sure to stop for good in a while. After 45 years of smoking fairly heavily I don't beat myself up for having the occasional smoke but do really question why I light up when it has turned into such an unsatisfactory experience.

During parties or after a few beers I feel the craving for a smoke. Often I fall for it and go out and light one up, but recently the craving has been less and less.

I smoked a cigarette yesterday. And I think that was it, it will be a long time; if ever, until I smoke another one. It did not taste that great, and I had unusually major regrets inhaling that dirty smoke in to my lungs. Ew.

                                God bless snus.
