Monkeys learned to drink alcohol the same way we did, by first being introduced to fermented fruit/sugars in the wild. Scientists observing monkeys who drink notice an interesting trend, they drink just like humans. Most drink in moderation, 20% abstain entirely and prefer soda, and 5% finish the alcohol to the last drop. Plus they look funny when they're drunk:

Glad to see this thread going strong! My girl bought me this for our anniversary. I've had this gift pack a few times before but you can never have too many beer goblets, especially if you tend to break the ones you have. Glad to be going home after a hairy Monday for some strong, delicious ale

I'm not a really big beer drinker, I perfer liquor. I am a huge fan of Remy Martin cognacs preferably VSOP & XO, Jack Daniel's top tier of whiskeys (Gentleman & Single Barrel), and Maker's Mark.

St Peter's OLD-STYLE PORTER. I'm pretty sure I tried this one before probably years ago. It's really good, but not my favorite kind of porter. It's a bit bright for me. I like heavy porters better maybe.

Devout Stout by Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing. First time I tried it. Damn good IMO. I got some other good ones I have tried for later.
