Tonight my beard got me a free six pack. As i was walking up to the register they cashier said "Right on man! We're beard buddies!" He was growing his for no shave November and was so busy talking beards with me he forgot to scan one six pack. Didn't notice until i was driving home running through money spent vs what i had left when i realized the cost seemed lighter than it should have been. I thought it was pretty funny myself and reaffirmed that i am bearded for life lol.

was out fishing in the back yard working on a twelver of icehouse and some toy soldiers of beam black. The bonus was catching a 16 inch walleye right around dusk. He gutted the hook, so I guess I gotta gut him now. It's okay I was in the mood for a snack.....

Well, I been fishing for a few hours and ended up catching a walleye and a buzz. Not a bad trip. Will continue to catch more buzz now that I'm home......

Lol it's all good Snuff, I wasn't being critical. I drink a shitload of beer too. At the moment it's Peroni Nastro Azzurro. I've been hanging out with my mom all day. Christ I need to get out of here.

Pizza Orgasmica? What a terrible name lol. Pizzaria/Breweries are the shit though. Snuffy, there's something I find odd about your stoic dedication to Newcastle and Jagermeister. Don't you get sick of them? I can't stand the thought of limiting 90% of my beer intake to one brand. Not that there's anything wrong with Newcastle other than the caramel coloring you tipped me off to a while back. In fact, I'm visiting my mother in Portland at the moment and she always keeps Newcastles on hand because it's one of the few beers my brother likes. Be right back I'm gonna go grab one!

Well Roo buddy the truth is I drink a lot of beer. When I was younger I could handle drinking a 12 pack of the cheapest shit I could get (Natty Ice, Meister Brau, etc.) Then I started on Newcastles and was able to drink half as many and still get there and I felt better. I brewed and drank mostly my own beer for a year and it was great but (like many other great beers I sometimes drink) shits too strong. I like to slam beers and Newcastle has allowed me to do that nicely! For the record my favorites are Sam Smith's and I can pound the shit out of Guinness. Hope that helps!

A couple days ago I tried out a pizza joint that had been recommended. I didn't know they also brew their own beer. The IPA was outstanding! Pizza was good too.

Lot's of ice, a healthy pour of Canadian Club, 3/4 shot of sweet vermouth, dash of angostura bitters.

Let sit for 5 minutes.

Classic Manhattan. Very good drink, I never put quite that much vermouth in mine tho. I also love a good old fashioned at times.
