+1 Whenever you see people who have reacted badly, there has usually been an underlying mental disorder that was either not treated or fully diagnosed.

That report is the worst kind of pseudo-science and I am sad that the telegraph has such shitty science reporting (this is a consistent issue).

The tar is more carcinogenic, but you take in less than cigarettes so it doesn't matter, which is why there have been no reported cases of cancer (in fact it retards the progress of tumor growth and other cancer related things, so it is closer to being a cure for cancer than a cause of one). Anyways, a cig smoker will smoke roughly 20 cigs a day, no one is smoking 20 grams worth of joints a day (or if you are than you're an idiot).

Anyways, this article is complete BS and has no actual science behind it whatsoever. It is amazing that in this day and age you can get away with publishing whatever you want. Tryign to spin smoke mj as worse than cigs is just beyond the realm of science and into the world of make believe.

There could not be any more bullshit in that article. Smoking anything is not the healthy. But there is not a shred of truth in that article. Pot is not cancer causing even after a lifetime of smoking it (although vaping is much healthier). Never been one single recorded case of cancer caused by only smoking pot. I just shake my head at drivel propoganda like the referenced article. There are SO many health benefits of pot, especially when ingested in ways other than smoking. Its likely that its actually a cure for cancer. But propoganda like the BS article above will continue to keep brainwashing the sheep that is the population, and keep it illegal, so Big Pharma can keep makiling trillions on their chemicals which have more side effects that good effects. Pot does not cause cancer. Its been proven. And in no way is it more carncenogetic than cigs. What a joke that something like that can beven be published.

Cannabis health dangers 'underestimated' (factually wrong)

A third of people think cannabis is harmless, despite it being 20 times more carcinogenic to smoke than tobacco, according to a report published today (Wednesday).

Young people are particularly ignorant of the health dangers posed by smoking cannabis, found the British Lung Foundation.

The British Lung Foundation, which produced the report, said there was “an alarming disconnect” between public perception of the drug as safe, and “the serious, even fatal impact it can have”.

Almost nine in 10 people think tobacco cigarettes are more damaging to health than cannabis ones, found the BLF.

The charity reviewed existing scientific evidence on the health impacts of smoking cannabis, and reported there was strong evidence it contributed to diseases including lung cancer, tuberculosis and acute bronchitis.
