Why did you have to say lobster, now I get a weird tatse when I use Straight. The Straight is a weird flavor anyway, I can't make it out, but when it's dilluted in with some natural, it's really good, and not too sweet.

I've got a lip in now of that Natural/Straight mix. This is really good. Might get a 5can roll of a cheapy Nat and St so I can mix 'em.

        I still have unopened:
        Cope smooth hickory
        Cope whiskey Bland
        Timberwolf Nat
        Copen LC

        I have my empty stack:
        Copen snuff
        Skoal Class
        Grizz St
        Longhorn Nat
        Skoal St

and my in use can is a 50/50 mix of red seal nat, and grizz st.
I had some Griz st pouches, but I cut open the ends and dumped it out enough to match the amount of the RSL I had.

Re-read the thread. If you were unable to find Skoal Key anywhere around your area, I'll go ahead and look in my area if you'd like. PM me if you're interested.

I'm slowing working down the tobacco I got for Christmas. Just a can whenever my upper mouth hurts (i've been using alot of white portions lately and it was killing me) so I opened up a can of Skoal Classic. I still think skoal makes the softest chew by far. When I get about half way with it, I'll try a half/half of classic and straight. More of a tobacco taste, I'll believe, which should put you more towards the taste of COPES straight (more of a tobacco taste rather than a straight taste).

Overbloated and so expensive. Chew is so much cheaper here.

Dipped for the first time in my first year of highschool and hated it. 2 years later i gave it another try and i like it. Copenhagen is the best and skoal is decent. I buy a tin less than once a month, i dont make it a habit cause its pretty bad for the teeth. Ive had less than 20 cans in 3 years..

I have 5 empties stacked right here. I do find, I go through dip faster than snus, and I would guess it's because I use portion snus, about 4 a day, and then use long cut dip, so it's easy to pinch a big wad of dip, and it 3 days the can is empty.

Just now am trying 1st time with dip pouches, so Grizzly Straight. Not sure what I think about it. It's very different experience than a hunk of long cut. I put one in on both sides, so that's 2. I don't think they'd be noticeable at all. Having emptied 5 cans of non-pouch dip, my immediate impression is not liking it as much. Of course it is less messy. Still spittin'. I could upper lip one and get away without spitting, I tried this a while back, but never tried it the traditional way, but only like 2 times, and got rid of the can.

Straight flavor, I just don't know if I like it or not. I guess it's OK, and to me, seems more appealing than wintergreen or apple, though I have this urge to try Skoal Vanilla, I'm suprised no one had made a chocolate, choco marshmallow, that'd be a good dip.

Well, I got it, the new Grizzly 1900 Long Cut. Went to the grocery this morning, and they had it, so I got it.

                    Here's my 1st impressions:
Nice can, cool metal lid, nice design.
                    Smell, hmmm, smells really good.
Taste, yep, this is great, or very good. I like.
Buzz, only now thought to write that, as it is hitting me now, pretty strong. Gawd, like my 1st Thunder.

Close eyes... just chill a few...woah....ride it.... spit....1st dip of the day too, didn't sleep well last night, it's about, well, it's 12:41pm right now.

OK, it's subdued a bit, but still going...

Cut, my word that comes to mind is "mud cut", but technically, I guess it's a mid cut. Not a regular long cut, but not a fine cut. Some floaters, but overall sits like a lump of mud. It's OK.

Overall, yes, this is good. I would use again. But I think Red Seal LC Natural is better.

Also got a few other cans:
Grizzly Natural LC. Never had this, and read it was different than 1900.
Redman Natural Fine Cut. Not a fine cut fan, but was curious to try this.
Redman Straight LC. Not a big straight fan, but again, was curious.

Also, since I like the 50/50 mix of Natural and Straight, thought maybe the Redmans mixed should be good.

All of these were $2.29 each.

Anyone know of any other dip forums? I know of SMpost and Dip-Nation, but haven't found any others. Also, anyone know of a site that is dip and chew reviews? Thanks.

Hmmm I know a few old ones got shut down for various reasons that I used to go to, I might lurk around in SMPost every so often just to look. Honestly couldn't tell ya

Still can't find 1900. oh well I'm hoping to get a can right when I see it just so I get close to freshest.

Just got home, ate dinner, and threw in some Grizzly 1900. This is very good stuff, my only critique is the cut, which I still call a mud cut.

I just took a can of Red Man Fine Cut Natural and a can of Red Man Long Cut Straight, and dumped them both in a plastic contained, washed out cottage cheese container, added a little water, and stirred/mixed it all up. Just threw in a dip of it, and it's really good. Natural and Straight mix really well, and next time I'm at the tobacco shop, I'm thinking of getting a cheap 5 can log of both, maybe Longhorn or Kayak, or if they have it, a tub each of Stokers.

since getting the cans for christmas I aquired a nasty habit of having like 10 cans open at the same time and picking and choosing what I want. Something I NEVER did. lol. Holding off on any buys of anything else until I finish all these cans.
