I have. It just doesn't seem to pack the same. Guess there's nothing wrong with going through the motions.

Get some Klondike snus loose, they have fine cut and long cut. Offroad also had a long cut wintergreen.

I think I have some of that Offroad Cranberry Loose on the way to try. Would that work any better?

The cut is the standard snus clay-like cut.

I'll try thumb and middle later. I always did it with thumb and forefinger. Or you can just tap the can against a table as well, hehe.

Lazer is right, it definitely doesn't feel the same. I think its because my fingers and short and pudgy and the can is larger

Where in the mouth do you normally place your dip? I find it most comfortable right in front, but I think I wanna try more for the side, because my gums give me concern at times. They are a bit receeded, was before I ever put tobacco in my mouth, I guess a combination of age, maybe past smoking, maybe harsh brushing when younger, and maybe health issues like higher blood sugar. But anyway, my only concern about oral tobacco is gum health, as I don't wanna make it worse.

When I dipped copenhagen, I normally went bottom -left or right of center. Rarely did I go center as it just wasn't comfortable with the size of the pinch I dipped.

Yes, keep a watch on the gums. That was my ongoing biggest issue with dipping.

Ugh... I went to google images and typed in gum reccession, and could only look at 2 pages. My teeth is nothing like those, thank goodness. But if oral tobacco has any concern to me, it is my gums.

I did the same thing, my gums never have EVER looked ANYTHING like those. and after 40 plus years of chew/snus/loose leaf. Where the hell do you get THAT BAD of gum recession before you finally say to yourself "OK I need to quit/cut back". I mean seriously I figured my little snus recessions that heal over time was of "serious concern". *Throws a grain of salt over his shoulder*

More pages later show more and more upper teeth recession.

I just had the thought, I wonder if the pouches would be less abraisive on the gums? I haven't had dip pouches. Seems it would be better on the gums than a wad of loose tobacco cut up?

Comfort factor, really. Like if you put too much loose in, you stretch out lip (or the feeling thereof). And then when you don't have it you can feel it. I like pouches because you can just slip it in and no mess or hassle. Still get your nicotine, juice runs nicer through the pouches too. Finish what you have and Try out the grizzly pouches in the metal lid, I like those the best. you were bitching about money and I don't want you to go on some far fetch spending spree or else I'd feel bad.

Ok I wouldn't feel bad but still, lol.

I was bitching about money? I don't think so. I was gonna get some Copenhagen Pouches. I don't mind paying 3-4 bucks for a can. I have only been using dip after work and on the weekends, so 1 can will last me a few days.

I've had a few different Copenhagen (and Cope) flavors, including the new Wintergreen. First time I tried Copenhagen long cut was the first time I'd tried natural dip, and it took a dip or two for me to get used to the taste. Once you do though, it's nice.

This is the first time I've heard of the Grizzly Snuff 1900 Long Cut. It sounds interesting, but Grizz already has a natural long cut, so I dunno what the difference is gonna be.

Speaking of Grizzly, I've found that it's probably the strongest dip around, in terms of nicotine content. It'll sneak up on you too, if you're not careful. First couple dips of Grizzly I had, I was like "Good stuff, but the buzz could be better." Then I put a fatty in. WOW! Another thing with Grizz is, it's not the most consistent in terms of buzz factor, but if you get a strong can, look out!

I've got a review for Skoal Cherry I'm gonna upload later today. I'll post the link when I do!
