true - i just recently got into snuff - and i am with you on this one. But, those PACT loving, no-tobacco zealots would target snuff next ... gotta get some "reduced harm" legislation in motion to really educate the anti-tobacco nuts ... but, it's all or nothing with them. one tobacco product as bad as the next in their narrow minds - if they only knew how many lives they could save by promoting snus and snuff over smoking. their loyalties lie with the drug companies and their products.

The only reason snuff isn't under fire is because it's still under the radar. FRUIT FLAVORS!? ZOMG!!! THEY'RE MARKETING TO KIDS! SOMEBODY THINK OF THE KIDS!!!111!!

I /could/ use snuff in place of snus, but I'd really prefer not to. I thoroughly enjoy both, and would like to continue enjoying both.

None of us should feel like we're doing illegal by ordering snus, either from Sweden or the US. That's what the government wants us to feel like. They want to drive us into caves and have us beat on each other and live like animals. It's up to us to answer their bullying with a dignified "f*** you". It's what makes us American.

I for one saw this as happening three or four years ago. I'm not a prophet of doom or anything, but my reasoning was that Bush was doing such a lousy job that come the next election, America was going to vote Democrat, which always brings increased tobacco regulation. I had my PACT stash in place about two years before it passed.

I started hording when I started hearing about PACT. I've always horded anyway, though PACT stepped up my game. My philosophy has always been "Snus is cheaper today than it will be tomorrow", and "If it's worth buying a can, it's worth buying a roll" :^D

What gets me is why it cost so much more at SC to ship the same product to the same place using the same carrier.

Of course it's going to cost more to ship from Sweden than within the US

I stand corrected and offer my apologies.

I just always assumed that SC was based out of the states

I mean they speak English................and without a clear reference to the Queen, Cricket, or Tea.......................that's gotta be America............. right?

Regardless, once again the answer is surprisingly simple.

And you know..................I think there is a lesson here that we can all take away from this thread.

What I think is the biggest thing that we should all take away from this thread is this:

I use those stickers...I place them on packs of gum at the store and other various items that one would think, "Really, CoffeeMate is not a safe alternative to cigarettes?" I had my girlfriend convinced one night that the air spray in the bathroom did cause mouth cancer

We don't know yet if we will be getting a bill from our government someday for any unpaid tobacco tax if you buy from BS or SC.

I'm sorry but that's just paranoid. How much crap do you buy online from places right here in the US and how many times have you received a letter from the IRS regarding back taxes owed on Amazon orders? So what are the odds they would ever check out some small (relatively speaking) warehouse operation in Sweden? Hell, even if they did I seriously doubt the US government could demand records from a private foreign company anyway.

It's not paranoid at all. All the IRS has to do is demand purchase records from any company they choose to. A foreign company doesn't have to comply of course, but the IRS carries a big stick. They can forbid the importation of any products from the affected companies if they don't comply. It could happen by the end of the week should they choose to do so.
