I'm thinking about making an order from Snuscentral but really not familiar with them. Any experiences you could share?

My last 2 orders were from SnusCentral and can tell you that they have the Best prices, Freshest snus as my best before dates are well into 2011, Cans are not defaced with warning stickers as they place the mandated warning label on a slip of paper in the shrink wrap that your cans are wrapped in. The fastest shipping, I received both orders within 3 days from placing it. Along with the best customer service anywhere, any problems and it is taken care of without waiting. Customer satisfaction is what they strive for and perfected.

The shipping cost may be a bit more than Northerner, but you pay no State tobacco tax and they ship UPS DDP (Delivery and duty paid) service. Shipping It is at A flat rate and will pay for itself if you place an order for 20-30 cans or more which lowers the per can price even more to even out the shipping cost... Place a mock order and see for youself.. I say go for it you won't be disappointed..

Would the 10% count towards another icetool? That insane savings of pennies would prompt me to order one. I'm a sad human being...

I would think the 10 percent would cover the icetool on theory. I don't think there's any stipulations, do a mock order first and see if it applies.

Northerner and GetSnus are owned by the same Company.
Northerner has a Swedish and a US Warehouse, which Northerner ships from both and GetSnus ships from just the US location.

BuySnus and SnusCentral are connected and everything ships from and is billed to BuySnus' Swedish warehouse.

Im aware of the business association, but i was not aware it shipped from sweden.... all taxes, etc. are taken care of, right?

BuySnus and SnusCentral you don't pay taxes. It is supposedly sent DDP (Delivery and Duty Paid) but they also state that they "will not compensate for any confiscated or missing deliveries."

Older thread but I didn't want to start a new one, and I thought I'd share my experience with SnusCentral.


I received my newest order from them today after picking it up at the UPS store. After opening the package, there was a rather strong smell of snus radiating from it, and upon further inspection, my fear that some of the cans were broken open was confirmed. Before even removing the shrink wrap I could see loose snus scattered among the package. After removing the wrap I found 2 cans out of the 17 I ordered had broken open to where snus was coming out.

The 2 cans that were broken open were both SM los snus products, which confirmed my thoughts about the cheap plastic tops on them (let alone the cardboard cans themselves, as they were slightly crushed as well). However, I was extremely disappointed to see this happen, for the second time. While I have only ordered from SnusCentral twice, both times I have received cans that had been busted open. The first order just happened to have a SM los top busted open as well. After replacing the top and pulling the plastic out of the snus I still had roughly half of the los left (the top broke into many smaller pieces which got mixed into the snus, and some snus was scattered around in the package). I ended up replacing the tops with other ones from empty cans.

While I understand that SC is not intentionally breaking my cans and shipping them off and for the most part UPS is to blame, with proper packaging I believe I wouldn't be having this problem at all. Every can that has arrived with a busted top was a los can at the corner of the package, and I have a feeling that a portion can might be able to withstand the obvious beating it is taking as the los tops are fragile compared to them. Even so, I have never received a broken can from any other vendors that I have used in the past, which take more care in shipping through better packaging.

Overall my experience with SnusCentral hasn't been the greatest to say the least. I've ordered from Northerner before trying SnusCentral out and have yet to have a problem with them. Although I would prefer SnusCentral as their prices are relatively cheaper compared to Northerner in larger orders after shipping, this problem I've been having with SC will probably detour me from ordering from them in the future. Even so, I do have to say that they maintain quality product (snus is very fresh, nice selection). I'm not trying to bash SC in any way, I just thought I'd share my experience here.

I have been ordering from SC for quite some time and always had a good experience. I sucks to see the busted can thing, but sadly that is a risk with near all snus stores. Gotten them from buysnus and getsnus... aside from that they have good prices and stock some things others don't.

I have only ordered from SC, never any any issues; they have great selection, the snus is always fresh, the costumer service is top-notch and the delivery is quick.
