i have 16 open cans. its pretty ridiculous. i try to lower it, but im still trying things so i just keep opening more. my girlfriends working on my sterks now though, so that helps. i stopped using them and theyre just taking up prime real estate in my fridge. on the plus side im really getting my staple sneese figured out. i could probably survive solely on gotland gul los and 01 portions. i was getting annoyed for a while, as all the things i decided i wanted more of were getting taken from me, luckies, camels, retro. but i really like the 01s quite a bit. and i could probably get by solely on general los and general portions if i had to. i was hitting the gen los pretty hard until i opened up my gotland gul, now i have seen the light.

Actually, I was keeping track of on a spreadsheet for a while, but it was too tedious.

Isn't it interesting how anal we snusers get about things? Optimal freshness, purity, quality, storage conditions. As a smoker, I kept a carton in the kitchen cabinet and drew from it as needed. Now I'm not about to keep a spreadsheet detailing meticulously how many unopened cans I have versus opened cans, but I still line up the labels.

My daily staple includes 8-10 different snusii, so that's my baseline. I have had 30 different ones open in the past, but I've narrowed it down.

Actually, I was keeping track of on a spreadsheet for a while, but it was too tedious. I used to be compulsive about lining the labels back up, but then I realized if I don't it's easy to tell which one's open. Plus I just kind of know. I'm like the little old lady who lives in the shoe, they're all special so it's easier to keep track of them.

I'll just be sitting around and something will go through my head: "you want Taboca lös now", and I'll think, "oh yeah, I've got that open." Or, "you must try Skruf Original Portion." Damn, another can to open.

I was shlepping them back and forth between the fridge and the room for a while, then realized that was retarded and have thrown most everything (back) into the freezer. Turns out snus seems to be fine straight out of the freezer. If I want something in my active rotation, I might put it in the fridge and let it thaw out a little. I do have (counts) fifteen cans sitting next to me in the bedroom at the moment, though.

I haven't had anything dry out yet; some of the lös has gotten a little crusty toward the end, but was still okay. Usually once a can gets low I concentrate on it. I've had a goal to bag a can a day and have managed to do it this week (most of those cans were pretty low, so I'm not necessarily snoofing a can a day).

Hopefully I'll settle down after I'm through tasting my way through the snus universe. I don't really want to have 40 cans open all the time.

I've got a total of about 12 open cans.

Except for my morning ritual prilla of Montecristo, my normal usage is 1 can of lös and one can of portions and then I draw from the other open cans whenever get I bored and want something different.
