Are you primarily a portion user or a lös user?

I thought I'd get this one nailed in a poll. I'd be very interested in finding out the ratio of portion to lös users. Sage first brought this to my attention, with his thesis 'the silent majority' of portion users. I myself use more lös in quantity, but at work I use portions.

Let's put sage's theory to the test (and his reputation :lol <---joke

So are you a löser, or a portionado?

primarily a portionado, but have aspirations of being a loser..lol

My first order of los is coming tomorrow, I'm excited too. Got some Ettan and Gote Rape los, went with a pris master till I'm sure I like it. What other los should I try, I prefer the tobacco flavors, not so much on the licorice stuff, but I'll try any of the flavors at least twice.

I still like portions, especially for work, but am far bigger fan of the loose.

LOL, not sure what reputation I really have other than being a cranky a** when someone blithely disses my Elyxr. But I am really glad you are doing this poll. Curious as to what the final result might be.

But again, remember I said "silent" majority. I would wager that los users have a tendency to participate a bit more here. Not sure why I say that, other than y'all just seem to be opinionated SOB's.

I don't know how to vote on this one Raddleman. I use portions all day at work, and then 2-3 wads of los during the evening at home. Sometimes one in the morning, depending on how chipper I feel. Which do I prefer? I can't say! I appreciate both for their various pros and cons, 50-50.

Portions. At home in the evening I tend to puff on my tobacco pipe about three times a week. If the weather is particularly inclement I may bake a pris.

I specifically didn't add an option 'Both', as I wanted a clear result. I'd say vote with the greater number of cans you get through.

I use mostly lös of course :^)

I think the results will end up showing a small portion majority, but that won't reflect snusers preference as a whole. We're snus aficionados, so you'll find a higher than average lös use. It would be like a cigarette forum. You'd find a lot of handrollers, and people who use esoteric filterless brands, but most people smoke Marlboro Lights.

Why I used "silent majority" in my first post. I know from seeing sales figures from Sweden a whiles back that portions way outsell los.

Yeah, some interesting points. Of course I am aware (now, thanks snuson) what you say about Swedish consumption, sage. If anything the poll will show the respective prevalances of people who frequent snuson the most, whatever that means. That is, of course, taking into account your point about losers being opinionated sorts. Being a loser is a passion. :P

Love Skruf Stark portions, how does the los compare in flavor, saltiness, etc.? Gonna place another small los order tonight, Skruf Stark and what else....don't want to go crazy, just try it. Check out mouth feel, flavors etc. I'll still use primarily portions due to the nature of my work, but the los sounds like a good snusy treat chock full of vitamin N.

I still use portions at work...for now.
