I would be very interested. It would be invaluable to a new snusser trying to find a well liked brand instead of having to read through pages of contradicting reviews. I imagine it would be good for vets to find something they haven't tried, too.

i like white portions because the flavors seem to come in gradually and aren't as overpowering. more often than not, an original portion is going to hit me with flavor, almost immediately. and i like the flavor to come in gradually, you know?

I second that! Plus the originals seem to flood your mouth for 5 minutes and then they're completely flavorless. The whites come on slowly and last a heap longer.

nah, you just lack of skill to use snus point is not to drool snus with saliva, thats how you keep original ones nice flavour but not too juicy. Whites are usually too dry.

I'm not updating it live but building it on the dev server at home.

Once the account admin is up, I'll open it to visitors if there seems to be any interest.

Of course you could use the system for rating, ranking and reviewing almost anything.

I was thinking it would be great to set up a little website/database that consolidates all these post into a single place. Then people could find recommendations based on the snus they like or reviews on different types of snus. Kind-of-like a social network for snusers.

I thought that was a really good idea so I got started.

if anyone is into it, I could use a hand adding all the snus varieties and writing snus reviews. I'm just working on the ranking snus interface, and recommend-a-snus function of some kind.

It's all php/mysql and a bit basic at the moment, but it might have legs, who knows? do you have a link to the rate my snus sight

I'm still pretty new to snus, but here's what I know I do and don't like:
YUM! General original and wintergreen, Ettan portion and loose, General Onyx, Claq Qui.
Pretty good: General loose, GBR#2, Roda Lackett, Camel JTI, Gotlandsnus Flader, N&J Strong, Tre Ankare
:? Eh, its alright: Anything skruf (haven't found anything I like there yet), General ES, Grov Original
WTF is THIS??: Anything Thunder.

Favorites : Gotlands green, skruf original and sterk portions, tre ankare, ettan, toboca, N&J

Good snus : claq qui, grov svart, onyx, catch eucalyptus, GR, gotlands yellow los, jackobssons original, gotlands grey, romeo and juliet, lucky strike, general, general wintergreen

Didnt like but doesn't deserve to be in the category below: GR#2 (tasted artificial but not as bad as the two below) camel frost, mocca mint

I was like you my first year of using snus. Then suddenly, the regulars got too juicy for me, and switched over to mostly whites. I just prefer the more muted flavors of whites.

A couple for you to try if you haven't done so yet.
