Might care to try some of the Offroad variety then.
Especially if you like G.Rapé original (No.1). Like I said before, Offroad original is like GR No.1 on steroids.
gr1 doesn't taste at all sweet to me...more fragrant and peppery. I think I've got to try offroad if it's anything like you say, though
No it's just that nzkiwi listed snuses he likes in another thread. (not relating to sweetness per se)
Agreed, GR1 is more fragrant/flowery/pine needley/whateverey and Offroad original has like an even fresher aroma. To me it seems like it opens my stuffy nose right up.

Damn, I'm smiling as I describe it. My fridge is full of snus (22 cans of lös I think). But no Offroad original anymore. I'm gonna hafta wait a long while.

You should see my teeth, or should I say lack of them.

    Just kidding.

Actually I tried some Bacco original loose(citrus and bergamont). I thought it was priity good. I'll have to give offroad a shot as it probably tastes even better.

Just tried gotes no 2, Not sweet enough for me, Skruf kranbar is better. I think i'll stay away from the cranberry flavoured snus.

Just received my order from buysnus.com. During the sale they had recently I ordered a variety of different Swedish Match snuses (general, gotes no 1 & 2, roda, etc).

I just tried some (Goteborgs rape No 1) for the first time. Pritty darn good I must say.

Even with snus, the old saying "You get what you pay for." often still applies.

    Snuson everyone.

Hrm... I'm massively busy at the moment, but maybe I'll make it a programming project when I've cleared out the chaos.

Can't remember the name of it, but there's a music site with a similar principle, it has some kind of programme that displays what other bands you'd probably like if you express an interest in a particular band. Anyone know it? It displays the results as a sort of floating spider diagram.

Sounds like it'd be perfect if it could be customised a little.

I now can say -for the first time- that I have an absolute favorite snus.

    *drum roll*

    ..it's OFFROAD ORIGINAL!

What a ****ing corker that. Absolutely delicious. I just can't stay away from it, simply because it tastes so damn good.
    2 thumbs waaay up!

You could try to move the snus a little more to the side. The snus then is almost invisible. It surely produces a bit more saliva, but I never had any problems with the juices.
You might also move snus portions from one side of your mouth to the other to prevent your gums from getting sore on one side.

Besides of that, it simply takes some days until your gums are used to snus, so the problems will certainly disappear quite soon.

Can't taste anything at all, good, bad, or neutral.

General is very nice though. The slight peppery taste with the lemon is quite nice indeed. Very well balanced.
Both RL and Ettan can be pretty muddy (RL even more so) so I can somewhat imagine what you mean,
I liked RL when I started snusing as its taste was delicious but its consistency was somewhat waxy and sometimes it felt like my saliva-covered tongue couldn't pierce the waxy taste-barrier. (Prolly my own imagination but yeah...)
