The vicodin may be counterproductive to your colon cleansing as constipation can be a side effect. Immodium Ad is actually a very low dose narcotic from the opiate family.

I decided no on the vicodin.. I'm just roughing it out. The drink is horrible and I'm goin alot as expected.. I don't care if they want me on a light diet after it I'm starving.. I'm eating something good..

Well update.. The Dr saw some probs so they freakin admitted me. They say its ulcerated etc etc. So they are gonna keep me here. I was just wanting a simple diagnosis.. Some pills to fix it and be on my way.. What also sucks is I'm at a teaching hospital.. A damn kid only in his first year gave me an IV. These dumb asses don't comunicate either. I was asked by five different people if there is a family history of my problem. If anyone else asks I'm tellin em to read the damn file. I know these guys need to get real life experience but it's irrtating to me right now. I wanted to be transfered to the fancier hospital where you get your own room.. There's even a sofabed for my wife to stay with me. But
my insurance thing won't cover that hospital. So now I'm in a room with two douchebags. Oh another thing I had to go to the bathroom so the "RN" removed a cable so I could. She removedthe wrong cable and my
blood was shooting out all over the floor.

The health care in our country sucks! I was once in the hospital when I didn't have any health insurance at all (I had to work at the new company I was working for for three years to be eligible for it, and my three years weren't up yet when I needed emergency surgery). I was put into a freezing cold room in the winter, with peeling paint and an emergency buzzer that either didn't work, or they were ignoring it because I didn't have any health insurance. The plumbing in my bathroom didn't work, either, so I had to hobble down the hallways of the hospital just to pee. When I started bleeding profusely from my incision, I kept ringing the emergency buzzer for help, but no one ever came to my hospital room. Finally, freezing to death in a hospital bed covered in blood, I grabbed a towel, pressed it over my bleeding incision, and walked the halls of the hospital looking for someone, anyone, who might be able to help me. I got yelled at by the nurse I found, who told me I shouldn't be walking around the halls like that! Groan...
