I totally panicked and went to a dr. He was like WHY are you here? For this??? Lol he rx'd me to take l-lysine an amino acid you can buy at most health food stores. Took it and issue gone. I know take it 3x a day as part of my vitamin routine. (Im not saying it will work for everyone but it did for moi ')

LOL funny. Wouldn't have even thought about dog-lip syndrome (I'm sure there is a drug for that)

I never go. I hate it, and then I always have a battle with the bill. I'd rather hammer a nail through my foot.

Regular check-ups at the dentist are a must. I go three times a year.

No sores, in over a year of using snus, and dip, and chew. But gum reccession is noticable, and that does concern me. Now I had gum concerns before I ever put tobacco in my mouth. My front lower area concerns me most, and I don't even put anything there. I have with fine cut dip a few times, but not much. I don't want to lose my teeth. Now my gums don't look anything like those horror images one can find online, and at 43, I know younger people with way worse mouth health than me. But still, gum health is the factor that makes me consider quitting oral tobacco.

Glad to know that it stopped after time.

I guess I'll have to try to switch sides with lös like I do with portions. I'm just so accustomed to using it on my left upper it will take some getting used to.

i left the snus in for about an hour and a half each time and again in the evening for about an 1/2 hour.
well today i went to put it in and it hurt, ilifted my gums and had 2 boils (very small but painful) one on each side (i switched the snus side each time)
i have ordered roda lacket white portions coming in 2 days
is it the camel brand...me being a newbie or what?
any help would be appreciated...i literally did not want a smoke.
i had a bad reaction to chantix so this may be my last hope
    thanks
You might want to try Oomph aka Northerner snus. Those seem to be fairly easy on the gums for me.

The first 2 weeks I ever snused I was using general white portions. They royally messed up my nooobie gums. After healing after that I have been able to use white portions or basically stick whatever in my mouth (Don't play off that last part :P)

I'm recovering from a sore on each side from lös. They aren't really canker sores.
