I first met snus, about 2 months then i got mine about 2-3 weeks, and haven't have a single cigarette for a week or so. First i should thank all you guys, and the inventor of snus lol. I use lucky original portions. My q is as follows: At first, when i put snus on my upper lip left side, i would barely feel it is being there. But for about 2 days, i really feel that snus, bein there, feelin uncomfortable and really wanna throw it from my lip sometimes, which i feel abnormal. I m uploadin right now a pic of my mouth. Is this look of my mouth is normal really? Or is it because, when i got snus from the post office, for about 2 weeks they have been stayin in my room (about 25 C) and they got dried? Or sth different than i think, which i can use some of your suggestions?
I could use some help right now, coz i really wanna have the same comfort when i had 1 week ago or so.
Thank you,
PS: The taste is almost the same btw. The only thing i m caring about is the look of my mouth and the uncomfort..

Great to see another UK snuser - I lived beside Moss Side in 1991 before I joined the Army. The Army was safer. My missus is from Bolton.
P.S. I haven't got a clue what that is.

I notice I have a very small pin tip sized white spot on the side of my lower canine thowards the back, on the gum. It's very small, and I think it formed from irritation from loose dip. It doesn't hurt or anything, though I noticed a very slight irritation when I put this dip pouch in today. I've had it for a while, but I quit dipping loose tobacco for the new year. But it doesn't seem to have grown or changed in any way. I hope it's nothing. I don't have insurance, and it doesn't seem something to worry over. These bodies suck.

Hi all
I had one of these things a couple of years ago, LONG before I ever started using snus. I had to have the darn thing removed by an oral surgeon. Probably nothing to worry about.

Haha - my girlfriend would love it if I did something about the tooth grinding I'm sure. I think I just do it when I'm frazzled with work but you're right lx it is pretty bad for your teeth (so I hear).
So - my GP didn't really know what it was but said it's definitely not cancer or anything to do with tobacco use. He's advised me to go see an oral surgeon and my insurance is going to cover that so I should be all set I guess. To be honest - I'm just glad it's not going to mean having to give up tobacco! My girlfriend was quick to jump on the 'give up snus' wagon

Never had any similar issues....

Oh that looks unpleasant I'm assuming yours isn't that big or you wouldn't be asking us for advice. If that were me I would get that checked out maybe do the salt water thing the first link recommended in the mean time.

Nope - not hit in the face recently lxskillr haha. Apparently I've been grinding my teeth while I'm asleep though, I hear that can give you canker sores and such so could be a possible connection there?
Anyway, as I said - not finding anything to link this to snus. Infact all the literature I've read on it seems to suggest it's pretty much a random occurance.
Definitely not a canker sore J - looks like this http://img.medscape.com/pi/emed/ckb/...17-1076807.jpg (not my mouth).
Ps. C - no I don't snus in my lower lip, but like most people here - smoked 20 a day for a long time. Btw - is that an Imprezza in your pic?
