NEW YORK – Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the alleged shooter in yesterday's massacre at Fort Hood, played a homeland security advisory role in President Barack Obama's transition into the White House, according to a key university policy institute document.

Is that real? It would not suprise me, but what's the source?

And Islamic Terrorism really can't be compared with other things, it's it's own unique thing. McVeigh did not have a legion of followers and supporters, he really is the rare odd one, and this is 2009, not 1649.

Not saying others haven't done bad things, and bad things haven't been done in the past by other people, but today Islamic terrorism holds a unique position as a world phenomena.

Who ever come up with that one needs to learn how to do research, Hasan was a shrink from Walter Reed in DC.

Regardless of his religion, we are in a time of war, he was a soldier that willingly shot fellow soldiers. This is Treason, and last time I checked Treason in time of war is punishable by firing squad.
Put this f**k on a wall and shoot him. Today! Stop wasting tax dollars trying to save him.
I don't care about his motivation, I don't care if his little feelings were hurt, just put him down like the rabid animal he is. ( I feel almost the same way about the f**k in Orlando.)

lOL, never did I think I would actually quote from Worldnet Daily, but did you actually read the article you posted???

                  www.wnd.com/?pageId=115230

While the GWU task force participants included several members of government, including representatives of the Department of Justice and the U.S Department of Homeland Security, there is no indication in the document that the group played any formal role in the official Obama transition, other than to serve in a university-based advisory capacity.

Daniel Kaniewski, deputy director of the Homeland Security Policy Institute at George Washington University affirmed to WND in a telephone interview this morning that the Nidal Hasan listed as attending the meetings of the HSPI Presidential Transition Task Force was the same person as the alleged shooter in the Fort Hood massacre.

Kaniewski said Hasan attended the meetings in his capacity as a member of the faculty of the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine, not as a member of the HSPI Presidential Task Force.

Kaniewski believed Hasan applied on the institute's website to attend the meeting and was accepted because of his professional credentials.

Kaniewski could not tell WND whether or not Hasan made comments from the audience that influenced the task force recommendations or not.

Wow, so he was in the audience...and that means he is now some key adviser??? This is being whipped up beyond insane. every attempt to somehow try and bring discredit to Obama. Freakin pathetic.

I whole-heartedly agree, Obama doesn't need help to discredit himself. He does a fine job of discrediting himself all on his own.

                    as most presidents have done
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Who, me? I didn't quote an article. I quoted search results that included many articles. I just wanted to point out that sgreger1's quote was not just a crazy fluke.

People are so blind to the blowback caused by their own actions.

We've been at war in 2 Muslim countries for over 6 years,
We supported Saddam before we didn't,
Now we're supporting Karzai and his corrupt brother.
We've killed thousands of Muslims in their own countries.

There are "terrorists" on both sides, that's why it's called war.

The difference is that they'r playing to win and we are not. We have to call them terrorists because they are not employed by a sovereign nation. But really they are an army just like ours.

And you are right, we are the ones who made this bed, and now we have to sleep in it. Funding these groups in the past should have been seen as an obviouse fail but like all presidents, they just want things to work out during their short term, not in the long run.
