Interesting. I have to say that, these days, I'd much rather smell someone else smoking them than actually smoke them myself. If they didn't wreak havoc on my lungs before, I'm sure that wrapping them in tobacco paper would, most definitely...

      BOHICA!

Yes my children, here it comes. There are things in life we must accept. There is a santa claus, seeing a camel dressed in a suit and smoking will make children smoke. We must ban all flavored cigarettes except menthol because-------------- Politicians have your wellfare at heart. We bitch and yet we do nothing. SNUS SAVED MY LIFE! No politician can change my mind about that. Did you notice all this stuff has nothing to do with cigars? I am tired of the political hypocrisy. They say the tobacco companies lied. Ever see the anti smoking ads?

          Here's a thought

The SG. Koop was a pipesmoker. He was level headed and fair. Now if the head of the FDA dipped. All right, I will stop dreaming.

So any chance I get to see an ol' 90's band around, I'm down.

Allright, those bands are not at all the "feel" of the 90's. Not to me anyway. Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, NIN, for the mainstream, Mudhoney, Dinosaur Jr. Sonic Youth, that dog, for the non mainstream. The 90's (Generation X) were about apathy.

I think this is an early 90's vs late 90's thing. Cobain died in '94.

Ok, but then it was Green Day, The Offspring, The Counting Crows, Weezer, Korn, Marilyn Manson. I know there were other "feel good" bands at the time, but there was an overall apathetic feel to that time.

I was introduced to real punk in 98. Screeching Weasel's Anthem For A New Tomorrow changed my life. Now 90% of my music is punk. Didn't care for the new Rancid though. Strung Out is coming out with a new album this month, they always rock.

True, there was other good music of the 90's. But for me, that's what stood out most in my mind.

Yeah, it was the early 80's. Those were my formative years, and the later 70's.

Sure, I love some Operation Ivy, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Black Flag...

BTW Chad, sorry for hijacking this thread.
