Hell yeah, I've got me a big ole' fat lip of Grizzly Wintergreen in right now and I've got to say this is the best damn dip I've ever put in my mouth. I don't know what took me so long to try this stuff. The taste, the texture of the tobacco, the buzz... my God.

I'm dipping Kodiak wintergreen, bought a can today it's almost half gone. It's good I thought I hated wintergreen but maybe I'll give Grizz a try Kodiak is too expensive it's like 7 a can in cali a store had a one dollar off K bear so I'm sure it's still sitting there waiting for me to buy it. This stuffs a little dry which isn't bad for me. It's left my gums no really sore but imprinted. I dipped it first thing in the afternoon before work it was a little strong for that because I took too big a pinch.

I have been trying to find Kodiak and cannot. Kodiak is the premium line and Grizzly is the economy line of the same company. I enjoy Grizzly, so I would like to see whether and how much better Kodiak is.

I didn't know that ratcheer. It's kinda weird though cause the Kodiak cans look generic as all hell. I actually thought it was a low-budget thing, but I've never bought it so never noticed it's price. They do look way cheaper than the new Grizzly cans with the aluminum tops. I'll have to pick up some Kodiak and see how it compare to the Grizz, cause I love the grizz better than any Skoal I've ever had (which I hear is supposedly top-of-line chew). They even carry the Kodiak WG in pouches at a gas station on the way to work.

I don't know I haven't tried Grizzly. I'm going to try it later, I got Kodiak so I could learn to like wg dip again. I think they're doing a special on it in some places.

Grizzly Wintergreen & Kodiak Wintergreen taste the same to me. Kodiak may have a little more nic, but not worth the price to me.

I want to try the regular Kodiak.
Price really does not matter because I dont do dip regularly but more for interest sake. If it is top of the line for dip I want to try it once.

I can understand that. I used to dip almost two cans a day, but with snus it is a can every two days. I sill enjoy a dip now & then though.

Kodiak is great. That was my main dip.
It is stronger then grizzly. Very good dip. Nice burn.

I've never had any Kodiak. If I ever try one, it'll be the Straight Long Cut.

Last night I bought a bag of Redman Original, finished the can of Kodiak and bought some cope lc. Cope lc is pretty fresh June 28th tastes good a little dry compared to Kodiak might add some water later. Good taste though not as strong as I remember it being. Redman tastes better than I remember it being but I think I don't like it as much as beechnut fire cured so I'll try Levi Garret or RM Golden Blend next.

Got a tin of Grizzly Wintergreen a few days ago, enjoying the freedom of not pouches, while messy it is nice to know that you can use a tiny amount knowing you will still get a nice nicotine kick. Especially good before a class, or any other not-dip friendly places, so you get to get your fix and not feel guilty about spitting the stuff out within minutes since the amount does not deplete the can as fast as pouches would.

Question though, I know with Snus people usually try to keep their supply cool with the freezer/fridge and stuff. What about normal dip, any benefit to putting a tin in the freezer for a few hours? Any improvement in taste or anything?

                            Thanks.

When I used to dip Copenhagen, I would buy it by the roll and keep it in the fridge to help keep it fresh longer which really didn't matter cause at the rate of 1 1/2 tins a day, never had it long enough to really go bad. In the odd circumstance I would misplace an open can for a few weeks... I would occasionally drip a little H20 or rum/whiskey in the tin and freeze it for a night or two then thaw it at room temp and would usually rehydrate it.

Picked up a can of Redman Long Cut Straight today.

Not bad. I don't like Wintergreen or Fine Cut, so this was really the only Redman option I had.
