I've bought two cans of Grizz wg since I last posted. I'm loving the stuff more than kodiak, but I think it's harder on my gums but not as bad as I thought it would be.

I picked up a can of Copenhagen Long Cut the other day and it isnt bad at all. I tried dip in the past it was Skoal fine cut wintergreen and it tore up my gums, this stuff seems to be gental, my gums are fine after going through most of the can.

Tahoe smokeless tobacco Dip? Seems It's pretty rare. I'd like to try.

Yeah it sounds like indian tobacco. The indian tribes manufacture their own cigarettes, cigars and dip to sell after Altria stopped sending them marlboros. I haven't tried any of it so I can't say if it's good or not. I would guess it's mid level quality at best. The pact act forbids sending dip through the mail so I don't think you'll find it outside the reservation.

I bought a can of Grizzly mint. This stuff is gross, I had it before and didn't like it so not sure why I bought it. It's tastes artificial and nasty. I don't think I can finish the can, berry blend skoal is better than this. It's a little old but I don't think that's the issue.

Does it have a cool minty taste? I see many like it. I'm reluctant to try it, and I think I've quit dip anyway.

I tried Kodiak WG, Straight and Days work plug over the last weekend.

I thought the Kodiak WG was really good and just a hair better then Grizzly. The straight was also pretty good but for the price and tsna count would take redman over it if I ever get the urge. For WG I would say the Girzzly/Kodiak has been my favorite out of anything.

Not sure why but Neither of the Kodiaks tasted like the one I had as a kid.

The Days Work plug compared to CannonBall was less sweet and had a hard to explain tobaccish aftertaste mixed in. They definately were different when I thought they would be very similar.

It does have a cooling effect yeah, I added some pure vanilla extract mixed with water to make it palatable and that worked it toned down the smell and mint taste. Excpet for the flavor it's perfect in every way in terms of cut, harshness, texture, nicotine content (moderate less than wg which is overwhelming). I like general mint but the mint flavor isn't the same. It's probably around 2-3 bucks in Ky so no loss to try it.

I tried awhile ago to get in on that Tahoe offer, It was only available in certain areas mostly West coast if i remember right......

Timber Wolf and Redman are both produced by Swedish Match and are the lowest in TSNA.

Timber Wolf Peach Long Cut is my favorite. The Mint is pretty good too.

Redman Straight Long Cut is decent too.
