Bought a can of Skoal Berry Blend Pouches last night.

I used to love those, and when I tried it last night, it was as good as I remember. I may try this in the Long Cut sometime.

I forgot how bad dip dries out my throat though.

That's so funny myuserid. I just opened a can of that in Long Cut last night. It's pretty good but I kinda get a little minty taste to it that I don't like. I had a dip of it this morning too and I'll probably do more later. I've never tried the pouches. Have you ever tried using them like snus? I've pt a dip up there once. I was sadistic enough to try it again but got the same result. I think my filtrum might have actually caught fire.

Tried as I could, I had a super heck of a time getting the Copenhagen Snuff to pinch and pack, so I picked up a can of the ELC yesterday, and mixed that one can with 2 cans of the Snuff(I bought 3 as a I had a coupon for 3), and now it's so much better, can easily pinch and pack it now.

I always preferrred the pouches just because otherwise, I would always end up with dip in my teeth.

I haven't tried to upper lip them, but I thought about it last night. The Skoal pouches are longer and fatter than snus portions, so it might be a tighter fit.

I don't dip very often, but I like to have a can or two in the fridge just to change things up a bit.

I was sitting here at work, and I guess I was craving some baccy, or maybe I was just bored, but I was thinking, being how I work alone 99% of the time, I could probably dip here, just as well as snus, or whatever. But I was thinking how loose cut dip might be a prob, as I always like to rinse my mouth out, and the spit often has parts in it, yeah, no biggie, and I am sure I could do it, but then I had the thought of pouches, and so I walked up to the corner gas station, and asked for a can of Grizzly Snuff Pouches. These are rather new item. I've never had them before. In fact, the only time I ever bought dip pouches was with the idea of upper lipping them, and at the time I was not used to, or been using dip at all, so I tried it a few times, upper lipped, but threw them out after a few.

Anyway, these Grizzly Snuff Pouches were only $1.64, not sure how old they are, they don't have the new can in. They didn't seem very moist, but it did moisten up quickly in my mouth, and does have a good taste. I have an empty soda can. Whew, I think I accidentally swallowed some.

Now the taste of the pouch is really good. I think a snus with a taste like this would be liked.

I've never had the Grizzly Snuff Pouches, but the Grizzly Wintergreen Pouches are good.

It may just be me, but Grizzly seems to be a little stronger than Skoal.

I'm not into wintergreen, the only 2 dip flavs I like(at this time) are the snuff/natural, and straight.

I've had Straight before, but never Natural.

Is there a big difference in taste?

Yes, totally different. Natural/snuff is like a seasoned tobacco, salty/peppery, maybe a more natural sweetness, and straight is a more sweetish, smokey, spiceyness.

                      Interesting.

I may have to try Natural.

So are these the 'natural' cause I'm tempted but don't want stuck with no wintergreen and for some reason when I think of "Grizzly" I only think of wintergreen... And are these less sweet than Copenhagen Straight LC?

Yes, they are like natural, they have a flavor similar to Copenhagen Snuff. I do prefer a loose cut, but for work, this isn't bad.

Oh, and it's easy to upper lip these too, if one wanted to.

Cool, Just signed up at MyGrizzly.com

BTW, you can print a one-time $1 for a tin in Pennsylvania (Maybe elsewhere to, don't know...)

Ok I'm only interested in checking out the pouches.

I See: Snuff Pouches * Mint Pouches * Straight Pouches * Wintergreen Pouches

Assuming the 'bolded' is what I'm after. Also, I like the idea of the pouch since the fiberglass won't poke so much damage I'm thinking. ANy idea what material the pouch is made out of? Similar to snus I wonder in the material part?

The pouch material is similar to snus portions, but they look thicker.
