You should also check the post office. I got the pink slip today telling me I had to go pick up my package. The REK option delivered 3 days later then the regular mail option and I have to go pick it up. It shipped the 9th and got here on the 16th. Think I will stick to the regular mail option.

well, northerner.com sent me a tracking number for the package and they told me to contact the post office about it but the post office said my tracking number is invalid. I should go down there and check just in case though. I live in a very small town on the very far outskirts of saint louis. My post office just isn't as efficient as bigger cities.

Yea! I got my order from Northerner.com finally. It was shipped on oct. 26th and it arrived on Nov. 19th. It was sent REK mail and my wife had to sign for it. it wasn't northerners fault at all, just the shitty REK mail. I highly recommend you don't use it.

            Insulator-
check your email, i just got a newsletter from northener.com apologizing for the late shipping times because of a database problem. there have been positive reviews of REK shipping and i think it had something to do with the holidays and northeners error.

I placed an order on 15 Nov. Got the confirmation and everything else. Well My Northerner Snus order shows up today on the 26th Nov. Only problem is all that showed up was a torn open envelope with a receipt inside. Apparently the envelope was torn open somehow and the 2 Snus tins were removed somewhere along the trip. I cant say the packaging was very good to prevent this, as they used lousy paper tape to seal the envelope. I can easily say however I will never be using Northerner.com ever again, based on what I have read in here, and this experience.

Many things can happen to the parcel...

I recommend to contact the Northerner.com customer support, they always replace any lost, stolen or damage order which one receive - free of charge! Other webshops do not. For example on buysnus home page you can read that they do not replace any lost order in the mail...

Well looks like I spoke to soon I am now having problems for the first time in 4 years
Anyways emailed them they are looking into it and I noticed this morning that they have removed the option for swedish post now only using UPS
I am down to 1 can of portion luckily I ordered again this time from buysnuss.com last night and they shipped it within hours via UPS so there tracking system says expect delivery tomorrow
I paid about another ยฃ5 but its worth it who the hell wants to start on nasal snuff again as an alternative to smoking

They have post as an option for small orders. Medium sized orders have REK mail and UPS. It is only when placing a large order that sometimes only UPS is offered. I really wish buysnus would start selling Gotlands. I still can't say that I have ever had a problem with Northener though. I have an order in now again. I just had to try the Julesnus.

I've placed 3 orders with the Northerner, and never had a problem. Buysnus otoh.... I wrote about the ripped bag on my last order. It was all taken care of very well, but on the order I got Friday, I was missing a whole roll of Grovsnus!!! There was a small tear in the envelope, but I don't think it was big enough for a whole roll to slip through. I put all of the rolls back in, then tryed to fit another roll I had on hand in there also. I don't think it would fit. It would be a little easier with a brand new, open envelope, but you would have had to really cram it in there, and I think the side would have blown out.

I've been ordering a lot of snus lately, so I thought I may have been mistaken about which order I bought it in. No mistake though, it was supposed to be there, and wasn't. I wrote an email to them, but I don't like doing that 2 orders in a row. I don't want them to think I'm trying to rip them off or anything. If it was just 1 missing can, I probably wouldn't worry about it this time. It's hard to let go of a whole roll of snus though. I think they forgot to pack it, but I don't know how that can happen. It's only a shipping envelope. It would be easy to see if something was missing from the packing list :^/

                          Hi lxskllr,

make sure that they haven't announced a second shipment (what Buysnus sometimes does, if a brand is not in stock). You can see it in your order-history or in your e-mail shipment-confirmation. But I guess you have already checked everything, so you should feel free to complain.

I know from personal experience, that Buysnus is a great vendor, but they sometimes just make mistakes.

                          Cheers!

I'm not pissed or anything. I don't do my job perfectly every time, and I don't expect others to either. I don't like reporting missing snus 2 orders in a row though. I would be suspicious if somebody I shipped to did that, and I imagine they're the same way. Oh well, I hope it gets worked out. I haven't heard from them yet, I hope I don't have to eat a roll of Grov.

I am really get tired of the REK mail option. I ordered 6 tins and it only had REK and UPS options. The REK takes about 11 days to get to my house. Orders from them used to take 5. Not only that but now every time a northerner order comes I have to mess with going to the post office, which of coarse takes three trips because they can never locate the package. I have never really had a problem with Northerner but they need to get the post mail option back for more then 2 tin orders. its getting aggravating.

Has anyone noticed that the price of Snus has gone up at Northerner with taxes added on? It used to be cheaper to shop at Northerner when just ordering 2-3 tins but now the price is the same as at BuySnus even though BuySnus charge double p/p charges to Northerner for small orders. Have Northerner already implemented the new year tobacco tax hike? Maybe this is a taste of things to come ?
