    Brick and Mortar Snus Stores in WI and Il...

    Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has bought snus in a tobacco shop in either Wisconsin or Northern Illinois... That post by TBD has me worried, so I'd like to have a plan B in place in case an order gets delayed... Swedish Match says there are no shops in Wisconsin, but there is one in Rockford, Il, which is close enough to where I live to make a journey down to buy snus...

      It might be quite a drive for you, but I get all my general los and portions from Bull & Bear (a cigar store) in Naperville, Il. It is $3.50 a can.

      You can also buy from Ives & Reis in Chicago, but parking in Chicago is expensive and their tobacco tax is friggin' insane (no tobacco tax on snus in Naperville).

          Nice price, do they sell rolls? My Honda gets pretty good mileage, so it might be worth the trip if I could buy some rolls...

              Don't know if you are east or west in southern wisconsin but just south of Great America in a town called Liberyville is a cigar shop that sells the normal 4 or 5 swedish match products for about $3.50 a tin also. The location is listed on the swedish match locator on their site. Hope this helps.

                  Thanks! I'm just north of Madison, so Rockford is about 100 miles for me... The hell of it is that there is a Swedish Match warehouse just outside of Madison, but when I called about snus they had no idea what I was talking about...

                      No (I asked them), but I don't see why they wouldn't sell you ten cans.


                      It's prolly cheaper for you just to order from buysnus. I really hate the damn health warnings that Swedish-American snus has.

                          I think the Tinder Box in Cherry Valley Mall, Rockford is the closest place to you RobsanX. I think I'm the closest to the Il/WI line here and haven't found another up here. When I run low, I go to the Arlington Pipe and Cigar shop in Arlington Heights. My Pops lives down there and I just paid $4.95 a tin. (someones gotta pay for Arlington Park Racetrack, might as well be me!) :wink:
