Can Los be baked flat like a portion?

Most of the tools / baking methods I've seen bake the los into a round bullet, or a pyramid shape.

Can you bake it flat for a less noticeable bump, like portions?

    Thanks,
    Jay

Yes. Try it. I have baked them to be flat and rectangle, like those gums, what is it, Chicklets?

You can bake it flat but I find the tootsie roll shape holds up the best when starting out. It flattens out naturally the longer it stays in. If you are that concerned about size you can always make your own mini prilla and just use more of them.

I find if I bake it too square it gets in my gumline very easily (prismaster shape/size). Long and flat should work ok, shaped more like an 02 portion shape (rectangle) but I find, like Justin said, with los, the shape it goes in is not the shape it comes out. If it's not thick enough when it goes in, it will just slide down your teeth when it "molds" to your gums and make a mess.

If you don't have a pocket developed yet, you may find a nice round (tubular) shaped prilla uncomfortable at first because it doesn't have a place to sit. It took me a while to get a decent pocket for the size prilla I like.

All you are making me want to try los really bad. I didn't want to go there, it just looks messy. Is the flavor better, really?!

Any other ladies use los? I just watched Zero's hand baking vid and it doesn't look that hard. (I play with play dough with my kids often so I am good at shaping). Ugg, what to do!!! Anyone have any los they don't like they want to send me before I go on a spending binge and get the hubster really ticked at me???? LOL

To me, molding it is easy. I don't prefer it, because to me, it's not so comfortable, and tends to stick to my teeth, and I find the flavor much more dull, or subdued than portions.

It's not as messy as it sounds. I too was scared of los at first, but when I tried it, I handbaked first, and it was surprisingly easy. I love it now, and though I still prefer portions, I will use los once in a while. I got a can of Ettan I can send you if your seriously considering it. There are other girls that use los, I know Shielynn does. (sorry for the misspell!)

I am very interested in trying before I go stocking up.

I hoped that Chad's box pass would have some, but he said he didn't put any los in, so pooh!

If I do enjoy it then I see a whole new addictive thing coming on...LOL

Have you tried snuff? When I first started I said there's no way in hell I'll ever use that, well, that changed. There are some bad influences on here!! If you can't beat'em join'em!

I applaud you all in your efforts to become smoke free. However, I have come to snus by a different rout and so I want to share my experiences with all those x-dippers who may be looking at this site for suggestions and direction to get started.
