ELIXYR SNUS my opinion. :(

Hey storm, I watched all of your videos on youtube. They were great. I too am quitting smoking with Snus.

I got some Elixyr in a mix roll yesterday...its pretty bad stuff, I totally agree. Smells like chemicals and there's tobacco in the tin itself. They certainly didn't do a great job manufacturing this stuff.

I finally got to try this snus. Sagedil tossed me a can in trade for a can of Triumph. I must say, I can see where his addiction comes from. I popped some ElixyrPE as I got out of the shower. By the time I got to work I was wide-eyed and ready to go without any other caffeine. I typically have 1-2 cans of cola by this time and am still trying to wake up.

The taste is not great, but is not terrible. It has a very peppery bite to it, and hints of what I am comparing to dehydrated magic mushrooms :lol:

I will back up the claim that suspects V2 of making this snus for Rebel Tobacco. The sticker on the bottom of the Elixyr can is identical to that of the Offroad and Phantom snus varieties that I use daily. The only thing I dont understand is why they use a nice ashtray lid on the Elixyr line and not on the Phantom or Offroad varieties. I guess that touch is at the request of Rebel tobacco.

Overall, the taste is definately not something that any normal person could tolerate as a staple snus. In this case, it is just as Sagedil has stated: "Function over form". I will be using this again in the morning on my way to work, and will most likely find it's way into my daily rotation. I can surely see myself popping one of these late-night during a marathon World of Warcraft farming session that lasts until 5am :lol:

So I finally got around to trying this based on what sagedil said, and it's some decent stuff. The taste, as others have said, leaves a bit to be desired. But it seems to work better than the Northerner energy snus, which was real thin and tasted like lik-m-aid (remember that?).



Anyway, was hung over this morning--ahem, afternoon--and popped an Elixyr Power Energy just to see what happened. I only kept it in for 10 mins on an empty stomach but I'm sure as hell ready to face a day of manuscript corrections and job-hunting. Better start than days when I wake up feeling halfway decent!

I just got my icetool and will post re:lös on another page, but now I'm wondering if they make this in lös. Or is that just crack? :shock:

But I am pleased you gave it a try and discovered it's magic bewtros. I am such NOT the morning person. Before Elyxr, it could take me hours before I felt stabilized to deal with the world. now, every morning, it is like the cobwebs in my brain just dissolve. And I feel good by the time I am out of the shower.

I just had to laugh reading back on this thread. I have been singing the joys of Elyxr for a long, long time now I guess.

The magical properties are no longer working for me; they did for about a month but now i feel tired when I use EPE. Me doesn't think i will keep using for the taste. Hey there's still coffee though.
