In my younger days, I experimented with a few things that one puts up their nose. The burn was something awful at first, and it would drip this nasty tasting stuff down your throat. But after a time, I associated that burn and taste with pleasure. I even looked forward to it :P
Same thing now with the Elyxr. It is just part of my morning routine, and the taste is an old familiar friend. A kind of strange friend who always smells a little funny, but a friend nevertheless.
Ah, the good old days! We were younger but now we're wiser. I wish I was younger instead!

I've recently tried an Elixyr that most haven't seemed to have tried, Pepparmint... The first few seconds seemed promising, but it dropped off fast after that :^( I'll tell you, I'll kiss Parrots ass if these aren't made by V2 tobacco. They have the same crappy looking portions, and that nasty V2 aftertaste that all of the Offroad products have. Elixyr is destined to go nowhere, so all you fans(I think that's just you sagedil :^P) better stock up before they quit making it.

LMAO!, At least it's cheaper than gas, and if your militia has your nightlife, it'll probably burn pretty well :^P

LOL, well I will just have to stock up a 5 year supply in the freezer. Not like I have to worry that they won't taste right after all that time.

I finally got to try this snus. Sagedil tossed me a can in trade for a can of Triumph. I must say, I can see where his addiction comes from. I popped some ElixyrPE as I got out of the shower. By the time I got to work I was wide-eyed and ready to go without any other caffeine. I typically have 1-2 cans of cola by this time and am still trying to wake up.

The taste is not great, but is not terrible. It has a very peppery bite to it, and hints of what I am comparing to dehydrated magic mushrooms

I will back up the claim that suspects V2 of making this snus for Rebel Tobacco. The sticker on the bottom of the Elixyr can is identical to that of the Offroad and Phantom snus varieties that I use daily. The only thing I dont understand is why they use a nice ashtray lid on the Elixyr line and not on the Phantom or Offroad varieties. I guess that touch is at the request of Rebel tobacco.

Overall, the taste is definately not something that any normal person could tolerate as a staple snus. In this case, it is just as Sagedil has stated: "Function over form". I will be using this again in the morning on my way to work, and will most likely find it's way into my daily rotation. I can surely see myself popping one of these late-night during a marathon World of Warcraft farming session that lasts until 5am

My tin of Pepparmint didn't have a portion lid. It's still a new product, maybe they're experimenting with tin designs.

Well at least SOMEONE finally understands me. Thank you Xobeloot, and welcome to the dark side. Of course I'm not sure getting the support of this forums one Phantom champion really helps my cause that much.

Maybe I should be saying "Welcome to the dark side"

I used 2x elixyrPE's this morning. Kept em in for near 2 hours. I dont know what it is, or why... But I am incredibly drawn to something in these brands.

I brought a tin of Jakobssons to work with me today, and all damn day all I can think about is getting home to a pris of Phantom.

That's what I keep trying to emphasize to folks. If you can get by the strange taste, they are incredibly useful. Glad to get someone else using them, I don't want them going the way of so many other snus into snus heaven.

I'm a two a morning person myself, unless I am going on my third or fourth day with little sleep. Then I start popping them like candy.

I was incorrect about the lid, it does indeed have a sub lid for used portions. The graphics are so unappealing that I didn't give the tin my usual close scrutiny :^D
