Camel Robust and Winterchill have arrived in my area

The new Camel cans finally came to my area, they did'nt have the new flavors so I didnt bother buying the frost or mellow, but now since they say their a new formulation. I'll try them out tomarrow.

I found some Winterchill yesterday and got a can. I felt the the increase in moisture has actually made it worse. I get a sickly sweet syrupy drip from it that I can't help but to spit out. The flavor is not really that bad, it's just too much flavor. They really need to reduce the sweetness and increase the saltiness and nic content if they want this to succeed.

Another interesting thing about the can is the small print on the side, which reads "0% U.S. Tobacco 100% Foreign Tobacco". If this is actually true, I wonder which company is manufacturing the snus for R.J. Reynolds.

I think it means EXACTLY what it says. Foreign tobacco, not foreign manufacture. A lot of tobacco comes from foreign countries anyway, so they make sure that's all they use in their SNUS. Why? so they can be disingenuous of course :^D They're hoping people equate "foreign tobacco" with "Swedish made" so their substandard product gains a little prestige. Of course the discerning Swedish snus user will see right through that charade ;^)

Widecut camel wg is like kodiak or grizzly with more sweetness and way way less nicotine. Oh and that website is awesome I have to restrain myself from going crazy and buying something like 20lbs of chew and dip.

Man, that is a pretty good website. Some of the plugs are really old brands and they have old style spittoons. How cool is that?

They wrote me back.. The guy said they store it in the fridge and the dates are good.. I may try them out in a couple weeks. Please let us know how your order went.

I don't think it looks that bad all things considered. The white text on a black background helps a lot. Also, major props to RJR for creative application. You can't see the warning at all when it's in the Camel fridge. They do a great job of hiding it, and it makes me smile thinking of the governments tyranny subverted :^D
