What part of Alabama are you in? I've looked around Auburn with no luck so far. I'll be going through Birmingham and up to Huntsville next weekend, though, so maybe I'll run across it.

I've seen the new tins in MD WaWas. I didn't buy any cause I didn't feel like it at the time, but I will next time I see them.

Personally, I find the whole Camel "SNUS" redesign and "improvement" very intriguing. I will try the new Mellow and Robust flavors when I see them in stores. Hopefully my greatest dreams come true: a viable alternative to post-PACT snus that is decent in flavor and nicotine delivery. While my expectations are not high, I certainly hope R.J. Reynolds is putting their money (which is alot) where their mouth is.

What the blazes is with the citrus?!?!? I may give the mint a try but if they're putting that bergemot crap in their "robust" I'll pass. I'd be a little more excited if they were making a los snus.

I don't really get the comparisons to general, though I've only had 1 portion of robust. The closest swedish snus I can compare this with is gotlands' tobakandnicotinefree. I got a bit of a green tea and maybe rosemary flavor with an underlying sweetness. it's still FAR too sweet for something I would use on any consistent basis, but I'd consider it the best out of the camel line. I don't really notice much difference in the base tobacco from frost. For 2 more dollars I can get a can of general locally, so I won't be buying this ever.

Oh camel, why do you build us up like this. I am predicting categorical disappointment to all of those that hold out hope of this being any better and/or different from the other camel 'can't smoke at the disco?' products.

My local gas station did not have them, but the Frost did have the new tin.

I got a tin of Mellow today(no Robust :^( ), and it seems like they may have cut the sweetness a touch. I've only had 1 portion of Mellow in my life previous to today, so my memory may not be the best, but the flavor seemed a bit more muted also. It's still too sweet by far for my tastes, but the flavor's nice in a candy sort of way. I wouldn't get it again, but it was worth it this time for the nice tin. I'll get the Robust when I see it on the shelf.

Anybody know if this 'new' Camel Snus is available
in the great ban-everything state of Taxachusetts?
Or in nearby RI? If so, where? Would 7-11 have it,
maybe? Or some other readily accessible chain?

My curiosity has definitely been piqued!
