    Snus Tragedies

Besides this I've also let a few cans make it through the washing machine in my jeans... The incident in that picture made my gut hurt for days though.

Post your snus tragedies. What's your biggest, weirdest, or most traumatic snus loss?

Permanent loss? Not much. Maybe a couple lost portions, and a couple grams of lös dropped. I've had shipping problems from vendors. Unpacked snus, and ripped envelopes, but that always got worked out.

I opened a new can of loose once. I grabbed my Icetool and somehow butterfingered the whole kit and kaboodle. I swear to god that can dropped in slow motion.

Snus cans are like buttered toast. They always land face down.... Right into my dog hair covered two inch deep shag carpet..

2 weeks ago, I set out on a 200mi ride on bicycle (400 miles round trip). Due to limited backpack space, I brought 3 cans of snus (roda los, ettan los, GES portions) on what I initially anticipated taking 3 days round trip. As I dug into my pocket for a pris of ettan, I noticed it was nowhere to be found. I then realized I had left it on a picnic table at least 20 miles back, along with my biking directions, and actual map. my initial thought was to go back for it, but ended up continuing. The total trip lasted 4 days and I was forced to pick up a tin of camel frost. never again. I also realized snus is an efficient means of replacing electrolytes!

It's listed as still being in stock at SnusCentral, if you want to order a roll or three before it's all gone. I just did.

I dropped a whole can of General Los on the ground. It went f*cking everywhere. I spent 20 minutes vacuuming the miniature particles out of the carpet.

Put a can of Odens Kanel portions into laptop bag, which then stayed in my car trunk all winter. When I found them yesterday and tried to re-hydrate them they tasted off so they went in the trash. Other than that the only tradgedies have involved snuff and my not-quite-2-year-old son - he likes to climb onto my computer desk and open any snuff cans he finds.

One of my great fears is being out and about, going for a fresh prilla, and dropping the open can dumping it all out like that

This is why I try to make sure I have at least 2 cans with me when away from home

My dog chewed open a can of Grov Los today and then threw it up on my couch. Labs.

Truly a sad day when that happens General Billy...especially w/ Grov.

I've got you all beat. I had an outdoor freezer that I was hording my D-Day snus reserve in. I live in Nashville, TN and there was quite a bit of flooding a couple of weeks ago. The freezer is now gone along with about 200 cans of snus. I'm down to about 2 rolls now. Ah, well. Back to smoking for me, I guess.
