More buzz from a pris portion than pris loose ?!

First thing i discovered going from portion to loose is that the taste all loose snus to the same brand in portion is very different.
Eg. my favorite in portion is Roda Lacket White but a loose pris of that does not taste off nothing.

Second; seems like if you take the same amount of loose snus as a large portion, you dont get the same buzz or sting to you gum.
I dont bake the loose pris much, but my guess is that the portion has a larger area for the same amount because its flattened and not round and oval like the loose pris.

Therefore i tend to use some more loose to get the same result as a portion.

    What are your experiences ?

    SUL,

I can't really say one way or the other because I don't use enough portions to really do a fair comparison.

That said, when I need nic, nothing works as fast for me as the lower lip (maybe it is just all in my mind having used American dip for so long).

Also, I don't really notice an effect from portion or los. I notice the effect of NOT having snus for a while but no real buzz either way. For me it is more maintaining a level.
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

I get more from lössnus than I do from portions, using the same amount.

By the end of 2-3 hours my prilla dissolves to nothing so I actually end up using all the tobacco in a prilla, nothing goes to waste. So I'm getting every last milligram of Vitamin N.

I've been using more portions lately when painting fences. I find I tend to tense up my mouth when painting, and it squashes the hell out of my pris, and I'm concentrating on painting so much I don't taste it as well. Besides, it's a good way to get rid of all the portions I have stockpiled :^D

Point? Oh yea, the point... I haven't noticed a difference in nicotine absorption between lös and portions. It seems the same to me, but within certain parameters I don't notice nicotine much anyway. I will say that a pris baked tighter will release nicotine more slowly than a loosely baked pris.

Whew, glad to hear I'm not the only one that "eats" their prilla. My Ettan pris always winds up disappearing after the same length of time.
