No need to freeze it. It keeps very nicely in the fridge. I think I had mine for around 6 months and it was just as good at the end.

    Simple decision really

$100 for 100 grams of snus or $100 for two rolls of snus I've been dying to stock up on....
You have some kick ass friends :^)

I wish Northerner would start stocking Gellivare's products again.

The 2008 was fruity like the best raisins and dates, it was rich and the combination with the alcohol made it taste like the best ever sticky Christmas pudding, only it was a snus. The 2009 is so pale in contrast to that - there's a very faint taste of apples in there and the tobacco comes through like the smell of a freshly opened packet of virginia cigarettes, which is fresh and nice like the smell of new mown hay, but not really enough to justify $50.

Maybe I just got (un)lucky with my first Kardus and it has spoilt me for future offerings.

Sorry if anyone reads this with some in the post and gets worried for their investment - I just hope it's only my personal take on it for your sakes. If it helps (as i haven't been on here in a while) I'm a fussy bastard

    Cheers

Fussy bastard or not, I know we have similar tastes in snus so I trust your judgment

SnusWorldWide has Kardus now, for those who haven't bought it yet - and in the event that it is sold out at other stores.

    http://www.snusworldwide.com/us/order.asp

    But...

"We have received 30 cans of this year’s production run of 500 cans. The availability is very limited. If you want to be sure to get a can of Kardus, I recommend that you visit our web site at once: www.snusworldwide.com/us and place your order."

So if no one else has any, this is a good last option.

The cost translated from SKR to USD is $52.23.

Ugh. I will be staring at that mailbox everyday until it gets here. Even though reviews aren't exciting me right now, I'm still excited to try it!

Got my order delivered today from Buysnus, came in the envelope and was completely undamaged.

first impressions, you can really tell this is high quality tobacco, it's soft and fluffy. I've had a pinch in now for about 30 minutes and it tastes great, but really nothing all that spectacular as far as flavor goes, actually seems pretty similar in flavor to probe whisky to me....

Early though, but I'd say it's worth the money if you have it just to quell your curiosity of what a $60 snus actually is like. (Basically why I ordered it)

Seriously though, if your average tin costs $4-$5 bucks, this stuff is worth no more than say $7-$10.

If you are strapped for cash right now, I wouldn't worry too much about missing out on this stuff, although it is pretty good.
