I find it interesting that 02 is named "strong" and not "sterk". Seems like that targets it to the American market. Is that the intention?

I must have those tins for my collection.....as far as the snus, it sounds like a re-engineered version of Wise, i.e. synthetic robot snus. :? Hopefully it tastes better.

Those are clearly advertising images from SM, for some reason not posted by SM reps in their part of the forum, or simply floating in a paid banner. I'm now starting to feel confused about where Snuson's entertaining consumer views and reviews end, and where the advertising begins.

I imagine it's a little bit of both. The tobacco companies give different reviewers test samples, and proposed images, and the reviewers help spread the word. That keeps big tobaccos hands clean, and they can still get the word out. I fully endorse this method. I'm pro tobacco, and pro tobacco advertising. They've had their rights to advertise neutered by governments that don't know their proper place in the world, and they need to get information about their LEGAL products to consumers somehow. This way everybody wins. The companies get visibility for their new products, a small amount of lucky reviewers get advance tastings, and consumers learn of new products that may be of interest to them.

I'm not confused at all. I recognize pre-launch marketing hype when I see it. That's why my posts on the new line may seem to have a skeptical tone to them.

I'm happy to see and welcome any snus company advertise here.

About it being called "strong", I have sorta been wondering being these are Swedish items, why so much of the labels are in English to begin with, of all the brands. I guess it's to reach an international market.

In essence, anything we do is "advertising" snus.

From our reviews, to what we say negative (and positive) about a product - what we say influences people's opinions. Everything we say on SnusOn is advertising for another company, because 90% of what we talk about IS snus, and the things we say influence what people buy and what they don't buy.

I agree chad we do advertise..and tobacco companies get a lot of help from us as consumers, i mean look at all the snus noobs you guys have had since the release of camel's anti-SNUS it had opened up the eyes of a lot of people it seems like, including me probally the only good thing RJR has ever done. but don't think that the government/tobacco companies are blind even if we are just a lonely little hole in the internet.

but on a side note, the product looks nice but the no drip is kind of a turnoff as it will probally be a lot like a general mini mint.

personally, i am stoked about this new snus. my favorite thing about the RJR camel snus is its shape, and the flavor described of 01 and 02 sounds very good to me. i cant wait to throw it in my next order, and what better timing, as ill be just needing to make an order next month.

that's what i don't have any info on. i asked, and i'm awaiting a reply, because i'm curious about how that will work without drying out the portion.
