Snus Boom

I gave a can of Ettan original portion to my mother. She actually liked it. She's dipped Bruton snuff for about 65 of her 74 years, and said she'd be using the snus in places she can't dip.

I gave several cans of a variety of snus to my brother to encourage him to quit smoking. He's still smoking, but he is definitely using the snus. I'll know when he runs out cause he'll probably call wanting more.

A couple of guys at work said they were trying the Camel snus and I'm hoping they try the real stuff.

Maybe a revolution is under way!

I'm thinking that is about right. It may well have been earlier. She said that she and her sisters used to sneak dips from their mother's can when she wasn't looking. :lol:

that's crazy. but back then tobacco use was more accepted so i think people started doing it alot earlier.

I guess it could be fun to have people ask about snus and be amazed.

A swede asking me what snus is would be probably like someone asking an american what that red and white Marlboro box with black text is :P

i think they might be testing the waters for how much they can charge for it. I think it would sell like crazy for right around 2.50.

i know dippers who like their snus but just won't pony up 5-6 bucks a can when they can 2 cans of dip for the same price.

I was wrong. She started when she was 5! She said that they had a maid who helped them reach the snuff on the mantle.

i know General is in North carolina, but only in 2 stores one in raleigh actually cary but raleigh like annexed it lol. and durham i think ? im not sure on that, but both a 45 mile ride or more. otherwise the state is full of the crap called camel lol .

Where the hell in Raleigh carries General. I check both the Swedish Match and general store locator like every 3 months and it has always shown Richmond as the closest store.

I really don't like General and have 64 cans in my freezer right now with about another 40 on the way. So not like I really need to know, but still. I SHOULD know damn-it. :lol: :lol:

some cigar shop in cary some indian dude owns it. i talked to him like 3 months ago about it he said he has all the american general brands.

Didn't mean I have 64 cans of General...LOL. 64 cans of snus!! Only General is some sample packs I have.

My point was I stockpile snus, so can not really ever see a need to go buy General locally, especially when i don't like it.

I use 15 cans a month, So I have more than a 4 month supply on hand, with another 3 -4 months coming soon.

So having General local is nice, but just not much applicable to me

Having said that, when I get my bike back, I will probably go pick up a few cans just to throw some support behind the enterprise. If PACT act passes, may be the only way I can get snus next year

I can do that any time you want. I put about 2,000 miles a month on my bike this summer (when not in shop). I love to ride. I put between 200 and 400 miles on her every Saturday just riding.
