Alright, I was feeling a little sleepy so I popped in an Elixyr, and I'm writing this as I go.

The portions are the typical V2/Rebel style. Kind of flat, and seemingly a little under filled.

The taste :^O It's almost pleasant at first, but turns very bitter, and makes me shudder if I suck on the portion. It's kind of lemon limey, and very medicinal. It seems to lose flavor fast which is a glorious blessing :^D Now that the flavor's diminished, sucking on it hard gives an almost minty flavor in the background. A bit of wintergreen and perhaps some camphor??

I don't know if it's in my head or what, but I'm feeling a little "off". I don't know that I'd say awake; It's more like a light buzz, a little fuzzy headed perhaps.

I may update this later if my impression changes, but I think I can recommend this for the experience only. Sage swears by it's waking ability, but I'm not convinced. It's definitely unique, and perhaps those that are chasing a nicotine buzz will benefit from it. It's cheap enough, so you won't go broke buying it, and it might be a good morning snus for some. I think I'll stick with my coffee and Grov though. I think they make for a much happier morning :^D

I'm definitely feeling a bit buzzed. It's kind of like a nicotine high where you feel loosy goosy, and kind of relaxed. I'm not sure about power and energy, but it does something :^D

If I use that shit in the morning it gets me buzzed like I woke up early froma long night of drinking. I guess it wakes you up a little but more of a wierd buzz/getthisshitouttamymouth kinda feeling.

i cant hang for more than like 15 min with it, ive got 2 unopened can and 1 full can (-like 4 portions) if someone want to trade.

Yah if you want two and a half brand new cans that have been in my fridge for about 2 weeks you can HAVE them, I liked the concept but it gets my head swimming early in the morning which is the only time i'd use it.


Id just mail em to you if I knew how much postage I would have to put on the thing or what kinda encelope to send them in.

you're right, it is pretty bad. next to oomph, it's one of the worst i've ever had.

I use Elyxr solely because it is the best, and by far cheapest way for me to reach a safe enough alertness level for me to ride my motorcycle to work every morning. NOT the taste or any other reason. I have have no loyalty to the Elyxr brand, I just find their energy snus useful and cost effective.

Elyxr s good, just doesn't TASTE good. But you aren't ever gonna make something taste good that has adequate dosages of caffeine and Taurine

I just got my can of Elix in the mail yesterday as well. This stuff is awesome. I had two portions last night and have already gone through 4 today :shock:

Yeah, I feel like shit, but that has more to do with all the crap I have put in my system recently to stay awake, and the lack of sleep i have been getting.

It doesn't taste like cat piss, believe me cat piss tastes really bad :shock:

j/k. I didn't get all that much of a flavor, and the taste that i did get is keeping me awake as well!

thanks to good ole elix i've only had 6 cups of coffee and 1 monster today (this is not sarcasm. Two days before a test my coffee/monster in take would be way higher without this wonderful snus).


My use is a bit different from Sage. He says he pops his in the morning in the shower. I start the morning with a coffee pot and a funnel to get me going. I have been using these portions between coffee hours to maintain systemic alertness and focus.



No its probably not good for me to have this much stimulant in my system. But I gotta do what I gotta do.

Yes you're popular around here, but you also have 2000 posts and more experience than me. You claim some heavy info. but it's hard to trust a serious snuser like yourself, when you consume vial brands of snus that everyone hates, and you go on raving about them.
