    Welcome aboard!

I personally recommend a sampler pack for new snusers as it give you a large variety of flavors and styles. Don't be afraid to try as many brands as you can.

Just a tip though.... You may not like a flavor at first. Don't throw it away. Pop in in the freezer and try it a week or two later, might find you like it!

Also, don't buy a roll of anything until you have tried it and really like it. 240 portions can be really hard to burn through if do not like the flavor.

Whatever you do, don't order a roll of anything when you start.

Even after starting out liking something your tastes can change. When I first started I liked Ettan, so I ordered a roll of it. Now I don't and have 7 cans of it left in my freezer. Claq Qui I couldn't stand when I first tried it, now It's become acceptable.

I was a 3 pack a day smoker. Regular portions are plenty strong enough. The sterks are nice but not necessary.

I thought I'd mention OR WG, as username has mentioned he likes wintergreen in dip.

Oh, and username, don't assume that you prefer something to anything else just yet; not only is this uncharted territory for you, but also as sagedil has pointed out - quite correctly imo - on various posts, tastebuds seem to be quite fickle things and you could start out loving some flavours or styles, then change your mind.

As lxskllr mentions, that first list isn't that complete. It's the same mistake I made on my first order (I only starting really enjoying snus after my second order ). I'd get a few more, from various companies.

        Happy snusing!

Welcome to Snuson. I suggest that if you like Wintergreen, you should order a can of each of the wintergreen snuses. If you don't, and you only order two, you will leave yourself wondering if perhaps the one you decided not to order might have been better, and you'll be no closer to finding a favorite.

Also, I recommend trying out some other popular snuses to see what you might like. I've found that we're often surprised and end up liking things that we'd never expect.

Oh, and I recommend trying at least one can of loose. It rocks.

Welcome to the site username. I recently kicked the cigarette habit with snus. It has taken me about a month. I didn't stop smoking - like sagedil. Snus just kind of took over and eventually I ran out of cigarettes. The last pack or two I didn't really want. But they were there, so I smoked them.

I haven't touched a cigarette since friday. I don't miss them and the snus is keeping me perfectly content.

As far as recommendations go, I can't be of much help. I just picked out 10 random snus cans and gave it a go. I've used snus before, but without much success. This time around I decided to give it a fair chance. I started with Ettan portions and really liked it from the get go. White portions are definitely not for me, but you might find them heavenly. As far as nic goes, I get a faster hit with the regular portions.

Welcome to the world of snus!
