    I refuse to order from them. I asked them a question via email 3 months ago. A month ago they finally generated a ticket or whatever to me but still no response.

    Today is Jan 10 and they replied to my last ticket. The following is their reply


    "Sorry, but I do not understand your question or request?"


    I guess they think i will shut up and go away quietly. I don't think that i will. I pasted all of the ticket numbers in a NEW ticket and told them to review them. If they don't satisfy me by day 100 I will do a charge back. I believe with four pages of documentation and 100 days of waiting I should be on solid ground. A person should not have to beg for what they pay for and I am sick of this already.

    god smilies (sic) on me this day, i have received my snuscentral order which i ordered on monday and i am once again in the swedish saddle, my mount braying as my blood nicotine level is elevated to it's normal extremes. geeze, no stickers on the can, no tearing off the american political stickers of ignorance. god is good, the sweet sweet saltiness of the crumbly goodness dissolves in my mouth to wash away the badness of the cloying marlboro snus.

    god bless swedish snus for it enlightens the world.

    ok. well. update on my 7 can order from northerner. the one that took 28 days to receive. the same one that was short a can. the same one that had 4 cans of expired snus. the same one they closed my ticket on so i opened a SECOND ticket on 11/9/12 and they replied 11/27/12 telling me to let them know what kind of snus i wanted to replace the error. The same one I replied 12/11/12 and let them know I wanted Oden's since they had it in stock. Since they did not reply on 12/21/12 i replied again. Since this is Jan 4 2013 this time I opened a THIRD ticket with the URL back to the second ticket.

    Order Date: October 12, 2012

    Today's Date: Jan 04, 2013

    85 days so far.

    Northerner is fine 90% of the time. The problem is when they do screw up, they will ignore you. That kind of sucks. It would much different if they sent out some generic "we are sorry email" and reship your order with a few extra cans.

    It's like paying someone to punch you in the face, then going around telling everyone that it really hurts to get punched in the face and it's not fair that you got hurt like that.

    If any of you are still on the fence about who to order from, and you're uncomfortable paying $32 for shipping, ask yourself these questions: 1) are you ordering enough snus that the price-per-can, after shipping, is something you are comfortable with? Personally, I think $3 per can is a great price, and you really don't have to order that much to get there. 2) Is that Pioneer, or your loyalty to Northerner, or the cheaper shipping worth waiting 2 to 6 weeks for your snus when you could have it in 72 hours using a different distributor? 4) If taxes are the issue, would you rather deal with delay, disaster, and utterly piss-poor customer service ALL YEAR LONG, or would you rather go online in April, print out your order history, and spend 15 minutes filling out an extra tax form in exchange for a year's worth of lightning-fast snus delivery and exceptional customer service?

    I am curious about the replies to this. I am genuinely baffled why anyone in this country would say to themselves: "gee, all my last orders from Northerner have been severely delayed, and everyone on Snuson posts a weekly horror story about dealing with them, but I'd better not use anyone else this time and stick with good ol' Northerner, I'm sure they will eventually get it right and someday show that they care about their customers"....

    That's it for my rant I guess. BuLLitz, I'm really not directing anything negative toward you brother, sorry to throw this rant up in response to your thread. I'm sorry that happened to you, it totally sucks. I am also on the left coast and buysnus gets my snus to my door typically 60 hours after I order it. Every 6th roll is half price. That is my suggestion. Peace.
    Today is the first day I looked in this subforum. I might have purchased elsewhere if I had an idea of these complaints.

    As a brand new snusser, I ran into getnus/northener first and went with them for four cans. I can't recall how long the shipping took because I ordered sometime before finals week for school and forgot about it until it arrived, almost a week ago. I just placed a huge order with them... hopefully that will turn out alright. But I did go to other sites this time, and what made me decide upon getsnus/northener was the lower shipping cost. [EDIT]I also thought they had a nicer website--judging a book by its cover[/EDIT] However I was unaware about any customer service issues. If they handle this order well I will probably continue with them, otherwise I will switch.

    Interesting info on the Gereral auctions, I generally order about half General.

    Have to say my experience with snus central was in every way better than northerner...package got to me in the midwest US in 3 days from Sweden, all nicely packed and complete. Kinda nice that each can is not plastered with additional surgeon general warnings too.
