Yep, just make a point not to fund the tobacco Nazis through their 'NRT' products that largely don't work and just act as a cash cow to get you back to cigarettes.

Until now, people like John Dalli have been able to pretend not to know anything about snus (besides the well known anti-snus-propaganda from publications that are aimed at children and full of barefaced lies).
But now, that they are reviewing the tobacco-directive, they must know that snus is harmless and a good substitute for cigarettes. Even the EU's own SCENIHR-study has shown that and I do not know any other snus-study that shows any statistical hint that snus could be more dangerous than coffee. At worst, the studies have an unbased tobacco-phobic undertone in the comments and recommendations, but no substantial argument against snus.

When will the EU-commission be sued for killing people knowingly by depriving smokers of a usable and harmless alternative?

    Cheers!
But, it's OK to keep killing people, as long as the ££££ keep coming, and some people become super rich

Tobacco control and our own governments have no interest in public health. There only interest is keeping the money flowing. TC is really nothing more then PR front groups for drug companies.

If the idea of tobacco harm reduction becomes mainstream these people would be out of work and lots of money would stop flowing. How are you going to tax the recreational use of nicotine in the from of smokeless tobacco when it is known to public that it is 99% less harmful then smoking. All the rational for the current tax structure falls apart. That would be like trying to tax caffein at the same level we now tax cigarettes. There are lots of interested parties that will do and say anything to keep THR from becoming mainstream. That includes the EU ban, extreme taxation, lies and misinformation about the dangers of smokeless tobacco, denormalization of tobacco users, etc.
I've been saying it's the big pharmaceutical companies AND big tobacco for a long time
