For very close to General I'd say Granit. Heavier citrus go with LD, for no citrus or smoke go with Knox.

I like a stronger citrus flavor so my order is LD, Granit Knox. I'm not crazy about Knox, but many people like it. It strikes me as being on the thin side, but if you like Skruf you'll like Knox. There's nothing cheap tasting about it.
I'd have to say I never got a General type flavour from Gustavus, but rather a flowery / perfumed taste which is not really something that I enjoy in a snus.

I think I am going to throw a can of Granit lös and LD lös in my next order to see how they compare with General. Personally I've grown quite fond of General (and especially the GES lös) lately so if they are broadly similar I might add them to orders more regularly.

GES is in my top 3 but General is losing favor. I'm using it less and less and it's being replaced by Retro.

I tend to brand hop a bit, but General is always a constant. It's nice to know that if I get tired of too many varieties I've always got some General to knock my tastebuds back into shape! 8)

It definitely isn't a clone, but I would consider it to be in the same category. Gustavus tastes earthier to me, with some chocolate notes in the back. It is more flavorful overall, and perhaps with some floweriness. Sometime in the near future I'll throw some renewed thoughts up. I haven't had it in awhile, but I put a couple of cans in my last order. It'll be a little bit before I get to it though.

Same here. Love those crazy dirty nights in snusville. But home is where the heart is. Thumbs up for The General.
