Loved General since the first portion.
The los is super good and probably my favorite snus.

General is still one of my favorites. It's what I started with, and I'm pretty comfortable saying that I could use it all day if it came to it. I've actually been using it heavily as of late due to the fact that I just moved, and forgot to put an order in to stock up before I left.

I'm glad that there is a shop right down the street, but it cost me 26 bucks for four tins.....ouch. :x

              I can't believe I missed this one.

I HATE General....LOL. No, hate is too strong. I don't much like General and have never understood what all the fuss is about. I love Tobacco flavored snus but General just isn't one of them. I love Oynx in limited quantities, but I just don't really like General.

LOL, now having sad that, I suppose I should try it again. Always telling newbies how tastes change, and it has been at least 18 months since I last had General. Who knows, maybe I will love it this time.

General, as well as some other Swedish Match lös gets a strange rubbery taste after it's been open about a week. I especially notice it in General. The citrus tastes like the powder they line balloons with, and the rubbery taste seals the deal :^D General's ok, but there's other similar snuses I like better.

Grov and Ettan are close to each other. Grov's a bit smokier, coarser cut, and is my favorite of the 2 by a smidge.

Snus along the same line as General is Granit, Gustavus, and LD. They're all a little stronger on the citrus.

Gotland Yellow is my favorite, and is much stronger on the citrus than General; It also has a bit of an evergreen flavor. Gotland portions emphasize the evergreen, and the lös emphasizes the citrus.

As far as lös, would you recommend either Granit, LD or Knox?

For very close to General I'd say Granit. Heavier citrus go with LD, for no citrus or smoke go with Knox.

I like a stronger citrus flavor so my order is LD, Granit Knox. I'm not crazy about Knox, but many people like it. It strikes me as being on the thin side, but if you like Skruf you'll like Knox. There's nothing cheap tasting about it.

Knox is basically skruf without the rose oil. It has a rich dark tobacco taste that you can recognize in skruf. I love knox

if you haven't tried ettan, it's the bombdiggity. i usually go towards flavor snuses, although somtimes i want something mild, or just a tobacco plain flavored snus, and ettan is quite mild in all aspects - it's great. i like the white portions more than the original, for some reason original has a stronger drip to me.

yea, after all this time I still haven't really gotten used to drip so I usually stick to white portions... absolutely no luck with los, but I'm definitely going to try some of the more smokey flavored snus mentioned above in my next order.
