I know we've discussed "how you found snus" before, so I thought it'd be interesting to see a breakdown.

I'm not sure how to answer the poll. I first heard of snus through a friend on mine who traveled to Norway, and saw it over there. About a month later I saw Camel snus in the store, and I tried it out due to my friend recently mentioning it. I'm not sure I'd have tried snus otherwise. I'd have probably assumed it was a gimmick by American makers, and I wasn't in the market for a smoking replacement, so I doubt I'd have heard about snus online.

Somebody gave me marlboro coupons for a few free packs. Tried one portion knew it was crap, called a few local tobacco places found one that sold general the rest is history.

My cousins son gave me a can to try as i had been struggling with quitting smoking for 2 yrs, I didn't want to put it in my mouth until I researched it online and find out what it was all about... I ran into chads site watched all the videos and read all the reviews and articles.. Found snuson thru chad's site The rest is history.... The legend of chad lives on...

About four years ago camel sent me a test tin of snus. It was the frost but in a round tin. I wasn't ready to quit smoking but I used it. A few years or so later it was this site teaching me what camel started to tell me.

I bought some E cig stuff off a guy on a E cig forum , he threw in a can of Thunder berry and the rest is snustory

I was looking for Camel snus (which wasn't available yet here in Florida) and found Northerner.
RJR snoosed and loosed to the real thing.
By the time I got to try RJR's crap I was already a convert to Swedish snus.

My late stepfather got me semi-interested in dip back in the 1980's and he called it snus though I took that to be a slang term for Skoal Key. It was pretty good but not available in California and I rapidly gravitated back to my pipe and sometimes cigarettes. Last year I got a few tins of Camel but they weren't all that great yet the concept grabbed me. Had the advantage of internet access this time so I found Swedish snus. Haven't looked back. Too bad Camel cannot make a decent snus.
