Smoke-free for a whole week now

My last cig was a week ago Friday. I had my first-thing-in-the-morning smoke, and it was the last one in the pack. So, I thought I'd see how it goes without getting (making) any more. Made it through the weekend with no trouble, and just kept on going...

I still have the tobacco/tubes in the house, and I could easily make more, but it's been easier than I thought to resist. All thanks to the SNUS.

    Snus, FTW!

Congratulations and believe it or not, its all downhill from here. Even if you slip, you will realize how horrible cigarettes actually taste and go right back to snus. For me, that's the best part. I have quit before and when I slipped I went right back to smoking on a regular basis. Now I just go back to snusing!

Congratulations! I just hit 1 year last week, never thought it could be possible but with snus it was easy. Every time you feel a craving pop a portion (or los if you prefer). I snus almost every waking minute. I leave portions in for 3+ hours and when I start feeling like I want a cig I know it's time to refresh.

          Keep up the good work!

            Me too!

            11 days for me!

Feeling great - Wife still talks to me - kids not afraid to talk to me...

Normally my wife buys me a new carton of smokes about 2 days into one of my quit attempts.

I should have done this a LONG time ago.

It turns out that breathing is fun! Who knew?

Congrats. You just have to make it like three or so weeks before they really start to taste like gross and you can feel them rip your lungs apart. After you have that three-weeks-free cig, you will have a much easier time avoiding them. At least that was my experience.

Smoke free with snus for 3 weeks. Yippy!!! This stuff is majic! A pack a day for 20 years and now free and still saine. It seems like cheating it has been so easy and I now get more enjoyment from snus than I ever got from cigs.

                snuson!!!

Congrats guys, it will get easier and easier the longer you use snus, keep it up.
                    I'm past the 1 + 1/2 year mark.

I know exactly what you mean. I was just thinking this the other day. I'm now well over a month smoke-free, my last cig was April 16. I can honestly say I have no desire to smoke. Snus is friggin amazing. It's almost too good to be true. Almost.

I'm now beginning a plan to gradually work my way down the nicotine scale. When I make it down to using just "normal" 8mg/g, then I'll decide if I want to quit, or keep snussin'.

Congrats again to all of you.

                        Congratz bro!
After a month of no smoking, and you decide to smoke one, you will really feel how sh#t it really is, 1) the taste 2) the burn 3) the awful smell.
There's no going back from here, so just snus on !

Congrats RobS! I've been quit for a year and five months. Just be careful and don't start trying to reduce to quickly.
if I'm without my snus,,,,,sadly I will still crave a smoke. I just make sure I am never without my snus
