My gums have been fine since starting snus back last Oct 2009 there-abouts.... I think Tom's problem is he's mixing in too much American dip and the Fiberglass, Formaldahide, and wood chips certainly will play havoc with one's gums. I'm about to sample some of that Copenhagen Straight myself round about tmrw and I'll report back but I reckon within a week I will have some gum tissue damage to report back on.

    /Stay tuned

I have noticed exactly no change in my gums since I started, though I make sure to stuff the portion as far up into the "snus pocket" as I can, and make sure I keep it off the gum line. Maybe this makes a big difference?

        Offroad is made by V-2.

Unless Gajane AB is V-2 in disguise?

Its says here they are not a tobacco co but rather a marketing co.

Odens snus is made for Gajane by V2. The Olde Viking line is the first snus Gajane has made for themselves.

Cracked open a Copenhagen Straight yesterday. Yeah, after a couple of lippers the gums are a cryin'. It's a little sweet, LaZ but good cut and the flavor is spot-on.

I don't use dip in my upper gums. I haven't noticed anything with my lower gums much, except some right in front, but I've had that before I ever did oral tobacco, and while I did use dip there a few times when I 1st started, I put it on the side.

Give us your review. It's not the Natural flavor, which I like also.

Will do, tryin to suck every last drop out of my ol'e skruf Xtra stark portion whilst I finish my morning cup of Joe since I won't be able to swaller the juices like I do with snus.

On a related note back on topic, my gums are sorta feeling rough already just thinking about this dip...

I used to chew Copenhagen straight 1-2 tins a day.(lower lip left and right side)
                      My mouth was trashed.

Ever since I started with snus (Pouches)I have very little problem. Some gum recession but so far so good.

I usually always have two portions in if I'm awake switching from top to bottom throughout the day.

General Extra Sterk, Strong Portion is definitely harder on my gums than N&J portion or Skruf Xtra Stark portion.
