I understand your plans Azrsuperstar, you have always planned on eventually quitting snus if I remember right. I seem to remember you talking about that in a post like 6 months ago.
But truth, many, MANY folks here a long time. Like 2 years, BIG snus users have had no problems with their teeth and gums. If you are, I am sorry and maybe quitting snus is right for you.
Since I use nicotine as medication, snus just WAY better delivery method than cigarettes, and don't make my teeth as yellow.

Won't deny it, my teeth have a slight yellow tint. If this is caused by snus is up for discussion though, however I wouldn't doubt it. However with proper mouth care it shouldn't be all too noticeable (something I'm bad at aswell). Apart from that, and an enlarged upper lip, I've not noticed any other physical effects from snus. I don't believe its been proven that anyone's had their jaws removed because of snus though.
Mentally its different though. Since I started my nic addiction with snus, I've noticed a lot of stress reduction and overall better feeling though. I like mild stimulants, what can I sayAtleast haven't noticed any negative effects in the mental department.

I'm a light user of snus and dip and my mouth is wrecked. nasal snuff, in the past, didn't do much good for me. however, the biggest issue was getting nicotine at work, where I don't want to be seen sniffing things in the back.
It's always on my mind to quit as well. but I just don't know if it's possible. thinking of trying a high-nic nasal snuff to cut back, though it didn't work before with regular-nic.

I have also been smoke free for a year and used Snus to quit the habbit. I have not had any problems with my teeth (don't have a penis, so I can't say anything about that issue), but I plan on quiting the Snus in a year from now. I want to be smoke free for at least two years as I still have moments of wanting to smoke due to various triggers.
