I wonder what they constitute a pinch to be? Is it a gram, half gram? That could really change some of the statements on that site.

Hey guys,

Just a little update. Since my condition actually got worse (with no snus usage at all), my headaches got worse and at times I'm getting sight disorders, I went to a doctor. It seems I have a very bad sinusitis and am currently treating it. So, snus is blameless! Sorry for suspecting you, snus!

As soon as I feel better, I'm getting back to enjoying snus.

Really I have 4 shots of espresso and then two general sterk portions and I am fine. That is what 30mg of nic and god only knows how much caffine.

I'm not just fine I also feel very "focused..."

If you're really used to it, you can handle it. I've been snusing all morning after eating a bunch of chocolate covered espresso beans. The coffee irritated my stomach more than usual, but otherwise, I'm fine. I think it's more of a danger to people that aren't used to extremely high amounts of nicotine and caffiene.

yeaim used to it now but at first i was because i would always have one or the other...the first time i mixed em i was tired and just felt out of it

so, i'm back to snusing! i've been using snus for the last 10 days or so, no negative side effects. i've dropped cigarettes almost completely, i sometimes light one when i'm drunk, or when i feel snus may be too much for my stomach. but even then i take a few puffs and don't really like it.

so far i've tried only portions, these :

General - don't really like it, white or regular. it's too peppery and burns my throat. unless i'm drinking alcohol, i don't use it.

General Mini - these are good when i want just a little nic hit. i've ordered some other Minis to use for those occasions because, as i said, General is not really my flavour.

General Onyx - i'm not sure about this one yet. sometimes it tastes good, sometimes it's too much. we'll see.

Skruf Original - it's OK. can't pin it down yet, but there's something i don't like too much about it. in most cases it works though.

Knox - now this one is a keeper. not because of a lower price (although it helps), but it's got a fine tobacco taste, doesn't burn, just the right mild thing for me, when i want something with no added flavour.

Goteborgs Rape - another keeper. i like both its tobacco taste and the added flavour. if i want something a bit more "enhanced" than Knox, i take Rape.


my next order is on the way, and i'm curious to try :

Rape No.2 (since i like the normal Rape),
CatchDry Eucalyptus and Mocca+ Tobacco Minis (since i sometimes want just a mini, but don't care about General that i have now),
Nick&Johnny (very raved about on this forum, can't wait to try it),
Ettan regular portion (i look forward to full "chocolatey" tobacco flavour that it's supposed to have),
a bunch of Gotlands (Yellow, Green and Jacobsson Classic - read a lot of interesting things about their flavours and all of them being very different to Swedish Match and Skruf stuff), and
Roda Lacket (many people seem to prefer it... seems interesting from the reviews)
