I tried General lös way back when I first started using snus and it was a disaster. The snus wasn't very moist since it had probably been sitting on the shelf for a long time, and I didn't know at the time the proper way to bake it, so I just grabbed a pinch like I used to with dip and stuck it in my upper lip, and that... didn't turn out well. Lately though, I've been branching out, trying new flavors, brands, etc, and I'm interested in trying it again, particularly Röda Lacket lös, but I have an issue with chronic dry mouth. It's probably the result of chronic snus use combined with a lot of medications that all list "dry mouth" as a side effect, but whatever.
I usually circumvent the issue by wetting the portions as much as I can with my tongue before sticking them in my upper lip, but I doubt this will work as well with lös snus, but I could be wrong. On the other hand, in this form, the snus comes in contact directly with the gums and it should already be quite moist if fresh, so do you guys think it'll still be an issue?
Thanks.
