once or twice a week take:
    1 ripe strawberry
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda

mash to a pulp creating malic acid, apply for 5 mins, then use your standard toothpaste and brush to remove

If you are going to snus or use any tobacco product you're just going to have to brush more. Regardless of what you use brushing is the answer.

I agree with ddandb. I brush 4-6 times a day everyday.

If you have stains already that you are trying to remove I swear by this stuff.

Watts Power White. I got it on Amazon but I would think other places have it too.

I had some stains on my upper front teeth from years of cigar smoking and after a week of this they were gone.
It's a gel and comes with a mouth guard looking thing. You're supposed to put the gel in the mouth guard to whiten all your teeth, but I just wanted to get rid of the stains so I just put the gel on that area and put the mouth guard in.
            I think it's like $15.-$16.

(buy now that the stains are gone I brush religiously)

Of course if you don't brush at all and all your teeth fall out that will also solve the staining problem.

More important than the toothpaste I think is the toothbrush. I got one of those cheap oral-b electric toothbrushes with the disposable heads, some Listerine, and some baking soda and peroxide toothpaste.

My only trick is I do it 3 times a day and I dont press down very hard on the toothbrush. I say that because you have tendency to want to but I find its best to let the vibration and spinning action to do the work. When you put even the slightest pressure it just bogs down and makes the toothbrush less effective. Let it glide over your teeth and it will erase any built up snus stains after a couple of days and will stay that way from then on.

Thank you for posting the oral b toothbrush. I got one for six dollars at Walmart and the thing is amazing. Two times a day, same as it was before snus, and no stains.

I find Tom's of Maine whitening gel paste works pretty well on snus stains, and if you're like me and despise the taste of mint, it comes in nice fruit flavors like orange-mango.

My teeth have never been piano key white, but using snus definitely doesn't do them any favors...

I'm fairly lazy when it comes to extreme dental hygiene, but if slightly whiter teeth is as simple as picking the right stuff up at the store, I'm all ears...
Crest Enamel works good for me, not particularly for whitening (although it claims to whiten). It does increase the enamel's resistance to acids though. I also make a thick baking soda paste once a week and brush my teeth with that. After I started doing that, I had no problems with stains (except my "normal" tooth discoloration - my teeth are a little off-white anyway).
