    Snus and Teeth Stains

Alright I have found the only thing i Do Not like about snus You got it STAINED TEETH.

Tonight i was takin a piss lol and spit out my general portion lol yes they are very flushable  anyways i looked in the mirror and saw the stains. Now after brushin most of them go away but some of my teeth still havethe dark brown stains. They are slight and right at the gum lines. Most of the stains that went away i know were simply from having the snus drip for about 1.5 hours. So how do you guys get rid of these stains or more importantly keep them at a minimal. Alas though, they may just be a new fact of life. Also my teeth are not perfectly white because i smoked for 6 years but still id like to keep them clean. But please get on with suggestions because if my Girl friend sees these stains shell be like "SEE I TOLD YOU". 1 last thing i have no dental insurance im only 20 all I haveis the measley medical that i can afford right now. thanks guys.

I snus all the time and never have had your problem. However, I use a Philips Sonicare toothbrush in the morning and before bed which cleans the teeth thoroughly. Invest in a high-quality electronic toothbrush; they make a world of difference.

I second the electric toothbrush. Now I hate to use a regular toothbrush, just doesn't feel like my teeth are clean after. There are some mouthwashes out their that are whitening but the goods ones can't be found in most stores and must be purchased online. I'll see if I can find them.

I had a problem with that with american dip but I started brushing 3 times a day instead of 2 and I saw an improvement. Now if only my gum recession would go away

Haven't been snussing long enough to see a difference in my upper teeth but I'll keep a lookout.

White teeth are abnormal in human history.

I've found that when I get brown stains that won't go away, it tends to be in spots that I might not have brushed too well that morning, or have some plaque accumulation.

A good flossing every day to keep the gum lines clean, followed by a good scrub w/ my electric toothbrush, then finised off w/ a swish of listerine tends to keep my teeth pearly yellow all day

If I do notice some brown accumulating, it tends to be later in the day when my teeth are getting a bit grubby againb (ie. after lunch), so I keep a toothbrush in my desk at work.

Sometimes on a weekend when I'm just sitting around the house and I slack off on the whole oral hygene thing for a day, I notice that brown-stained plaque buildup runs rampant. Makes me look like I brushed my teeth with a turd

That was good for a much needed laugh after my physical chem final. I'm picturing a fat pris under your lip, smiling, yellow teeth covered in dripping with snus, and crap all over your beard. HAHA.

I was having the same problem. Whitening toothpaste is a must. However, for $2.00 dollars you should be able lessen the effects of snus on your teeth.

Go buy a bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide and an equal amount of water with HP, pour in to a larger bottle. DO NOT USE THIS DAILY. Use it 1x or 2x a week. This should help.

                    Teeth stains

I have found that my teeth are significantly stained ONLY after I eat sweets or starchy foods.

For my weekend job, I smuggle illegal exotic pets accross the border in my beard.

my girlfriend has supernaturally white teeth and I asked her how she does it. She told me that her dentist recommends brushing with baking soda. So now, when my teeth look a bit dirtier than usual I simply dip a wet toothbrush in a box of baking soda and add toothpaste and give an extra thorough brushing. Afterwords I'm straight for a while.
